Teachers’ expectations are so very important. When you expect students to excel, they do! His highest expectations were his greatest gift to the children. We need more teachers like him.

This is fabulous. I think today’s school children would love to be part of a dance programme like this. It teaches self discipline, coordination, appreciation of music, team play - and self esteem.

This was so beautiful to watch! Mr. d'Amboise seemed like such a wonderful person. His humility shone through by his willingness to share his passion for teaching dance to children in public school settings despite the high caliber of his professional dance career. Thank you for publishing it once again. May he rest in peace.

Ah yes the golden days of the postmodern dance era. When big named choreographers and directors of modern dance troops were involving the community in public performances.
