7:10 potential earnings: calculation for holiday hours: 12 weeks * 40 * 23.23 =11,150.40. Showing the calculation as 24 hours. But the amount is correct.

Hi Sam. In your previous video, you said mid-semester break also falls under course in session period and the work hour limitation still applies. But in this video you are saying there is no limitation during official school holidays. Could you please clarify the difference between mid-semester break and official school holiday? Thanks.

Good question friend. The mid semester break is usually 1 week during the study period. Official school holidays are after the term or semester is over.

Hey friend, very complicated question as some accountants can argue you can claim but others say you can't. @@seneshpaliyaguru1840 That's a typo. The calculation is correct with 40 hours per week. There was another typo we noted as well in total calculation for 52 weeks at 24 hours. Thanks for notifying, we have passed this to video editing team.

Yes, but you ll need a visa for those countries, and ideally, if you are keen to go, go during your school holidays so it doesn't affect your studies.

Yes, but what natonality are you? Many nationalities do not need a visa to visit the UK and US and Canada.. and if you have an Australian visa that might be regarded as something good.

Ooof, $557 a week is less than the average weekly rent in Melbourne. I guess it could work if you rented a small place with 2-3 other people but after rent, bills and food you'll still be struggling.

ok so this video is not entirely true. As an international student here, it is guaranteed that your employer would give you exact 24 hours every week. Maximum would be 22. And obviously during the holidays (which i am currently in) it is not necessary that your employer would give you more shifts so obviously the earnings would be half the amount shown in the video and that too annually. Reality is different I wish these numbers were true

Hey friend, thanks for your opinion. Just to be clear that we have mentioned all this in the video. These numbers are rough estimations. Your income will vary on lots of factors, and in the first factor itself, we talked about the availability of work. Also, your pay rate will play a huge role. You don't need to be working for 1 employer only. You can do more hours in the holidays with 2 or more employers depending on if you can find a job. Hope this makes sense.

Whole video is incorrect where is weekend penality lol????? my two cousins came recent & they just doing 24hours for week one earning $3400 after tax other one $3600 after tax. students have to work weekend no uni on weekend high pay aswell weekend penality are you even from Australia mate? because no one work less then $30 weekdays that is casual rate part time is $23.23 not casual saturday $40 to $45 sunday u looking at $50 to $55 Australia is only country in the world where u get weekend penality different pay from weekday rate even if you working at minimum wage re-do your video whole video is wrong. 🇦🇺❤️

Mate, relax. There are so many attributes that come into play when calculating minimum income. You can argue for all in the world about pay rate, but this video is about giving students an idea of what they can earn at the minimum. I am happy for your cousins who are earning a good wage, but not everyone earns that sort of money. I am not a sort of person who will give students unrealistic expectations, and i mentioned that in the video too that students earning vary on ton of factors. Some students can earn more, some less. Yes, you can include penalty rates, types of jobs, experience, and qualifications, and you can earn way more than what your cousins are earning. 😎

Hey friend, thanks for your question. Many students, after doing Bcom, complete their Masters in Accounting course. But you have to see if this is the right course for your career goal. Also, the extension of the post study work permit is mostly not for business courses. Check the complete list on department of education website.
