When Bonnie talks about disconnecting from feedback because it tells you more about the person giving the feedback than your actual work...SO good. I love how she leans into trusting her gut.

What Bonnie is saying in the intro about working only in her 'zone of genius' is SO relatable. That's where I want to get to 🙌

I have been learning from Bonnie since 2015. I took her Immersion course in its inaugural year, 2018, and have been on the course support team from 2021-2023. I became a licensed fabric designer in 2020 and I fully believe that I would not have gotten to this point if I hadn't had the good fortune to stumble upon her teaching all those years ago. I have listened to and implemented her wisdom for close to 8 years now, and I still gleaned something new from this video. Thank you, as ever, for vulnerably sharing your story and wisdom, Bonnie. You are such an inspiration and I appreciate you so much! 🥹

Bonnie is such an authentic woman. Her programs make you feel inspired. When the average emotion on social media is "fomo", she really approaches her audience with this invitation that makes you feel capable, like it's all attainable and really that you already belong. That's what I love most about her and everything she's created.

this is so inspiring. thank you. after years of internalizing the collapse of my creative businesses in my 20s, burnout, etc. as failure, i've been so scared to try again, but still struggling with making ends meet with inconsistent work (in a field i don't enjoy). this video and bonnie mirrors all of the positive energy i've harnessed to start again this year. scary, but wow - the alternative, never stepping into that "zone of genius" out of bitterness, that's not living. what i was missing in my 20s was consistency and progress, those little things you can do every day like bonnie mentions, but it was because of financial realities (i was all-or-nothing with savings for about 2 months, lol, it was all pure energy but completely unrealistic, which hit hard). we all have beautiful gifts to give the world, whether it's a pattern you designed or a tiny piece of jewelry you made or a poem you wrote. i'm always wary of the "7 figure launch!" marketing because it can inspire but also set up devastating false expectations for sensitive creatives - not everyone will do this. but i think the message of this is the multi-million dollar launch doesn't even really matter, it's that first realization of the $1000/mo as being such a beautiful success, because it came from a genuine place, and she did it on her own (with support of those first readers). that's the most inspiring part for me. thank you again!

Love when she talks about her 30-day art sprints, as opposed to doing a little everyday. I'm struggling to do "a little every day" (or even every week) but when I get in the zone I could totally stay there (if life and kids didn't get in the way!). I'm thinking I could aim at creating little 'art sabbaticals' for myself in some way. Also the 3 phases... a lot of good takeaways!

I've been on Bonnie's email list for years, I look forward to her emails as I love the vibe of them. Whilst I am not in the same industry, I get so much inspiration from her. Her journey is so inspiring and motivating. So much so, that I recommended a friend of mine to take her course, which she is undergoing now (we (my friend and I) once did a mini- 2-day workshop on surface design - being creative is in my blood) Love everything about this video and her words.

Urszula...In the past, Bonnie has offered scholarships for her course, Immersion. If you are on her email list, you will get emails when Immersion re-opens for enrollment....and also mentions scholarships being offered and how to apply for one. Her course usually re-opens in the Fall... If you are not yet on her email list....get on it! You will be happy that you did:) Best of luck to you ... keep creating every single day:)
