Oh, I am so, so happy your back!! I watch for a new video every single day and here it is!! I found myself looking every few minutes to see how much time was left because, I didn’t want it to end. Wish you could film morning, noon and night so that we could go along with you all, every day! I know you cannot physically do that because it takes so long to edit but, Im thankful for the few minutes we do get to see. Thank you so much for taking us along with you! I’m disabled and I sit in my chair all day and all night. The one thing that helps brighten my day is having access to the internet and watching different things on line but, when I see I have a new KZfaq notification from the “ lady of the chateau “ I feel like I could get up out of this chair and jump up and down! I can’t wait till the next one🙂! I hope I don’t sound like a crazy women but it’s true. I feel like I’m part of the family that you left behind😂I love you all so much! You all are so fortunate to be dealing with the local residents who have been responsible with the maintenance of your property for years! Also thank your stars that you’re in France and not Italy!! Every time you need to change or rehabilitate bathrooms, rooms, or your kitchen you would have to employ a “Geometra etc.” an architect, and apply to the town council for permits that take forever to be processed plus the expense involved!! So far you’ve been able to get what you need done!! Buona Fortuna!! ❤️🙏♥️

I was so engrossed in watching and then it was the end of the vlog, needless to say i was so very sad it ended so fast, yesterday i was thinking oh my gosh where are you and bingo there you both were. It was lovely to meet your patera Carolina you could see in his eyes how happy he was for both of you it was heart warming to see. We all look forward to watching the transformation, and i wish i was young enough to come and help even a young at heart retired hairdresser could manage a paint brush.

So glad for you all! We live in asnaamm villaage severral misles from NYC. It is not easy here any longer to be honest as taxes are tough and life is getting harder I think. You are doing a grand thing by slowly getting yourselves organized and with all the artisans coming and classes being taught it should be fantastic! Wonderful to have friends and family involved in this move and the visits and all are helping as well. So exciting! Have been watching since your first visit at Chateau de LaLand. Congratulations!

Journey to the Chateau (Patrick and Stuart, whom I hope that you will meet) purchased a vehicle prior to their arrival. I am not sure how they did that-whether or not they did it on a trip-but Patrick is German and his parents are still alive and residing in Germany. Just putting that out there in case someone is considering a move and is reading this. Y’all went to a lot of dealers so you really did a lot of research, just in a condensed time period. Good job!

Welcome all of you to your new home; 🥂🍾settling in is such an adventure. It’s been a long hard road but it’s the worthwhile getting there. I know the feeling of pinching yourself to see if it’s a dream. I’ve been there moving to Vancouver, British Columbia from the other side of Canada the East Coast 17 years ago. It’s a wonderful dream though and you don’t want to wake up. But you eventually do with the tasks ahead😊 The puppy is beautiful he looks so friendly and so attentive. He’s going to be a very obedient puppy very loyal puppy. I can tell by the way he looks up at who ever was there. So happy to see your mom and sister join you finally I am sure they’re excited to. I love the bathrooms in your château I think they are charming and in keeping with the period of the château. You could change the plumbing. Do try not to modernize it too much try keeping the period charm and ambiance that it has.Painting over tile hmm 🤔 a lot of people do that in Italian Villas and is not as nice as the original underneath. I always want to scream when I see them do that. I love your bathrooms I think they are beautiful and you’re walking back in time and they are luxurious they’re not cheap. I think different and unique that’s France that’s Italy ! Well to sum it up enjoy your adventure your family and your new life in France. PS is your dad coming to join you? I haven’t seen him.💕🌈🇨🇦

For your standard hardware brand paints I have found over the decades that the brands to trust are Valentines, & Rippolin with Rippolin being my favorite as they are the truest to color and have to quality of covering with a selection of colors. The other brands do not cover or the color you buy is nothing like the color on their swatch...nowhere near and you end up doing 3 coats just to cover...waste of money...there are some more niche brands like Little Green and Farrow and Ball out of the UK, and their prices went up with Brexit...a local niche brand is Theodore and they have the colors one would expect in a Chateau, along with some deep and vibrant colors for those of us with an eye for lively living!!!

Oh, that was so lovely to be able to share the emotions of those moments! I will be you in about six weeks (but on about 1/50th the scale), so it was especially moving for me to get a preview of how it will feel. This video oozed joy and it was wonderful to watch. I also could sense more confidence than in your previous videos. You sound more sure of yourself, which makes total sense. I have a total unsexy logistical question: what airline did you fly, and did you have standard seats? I bring my cat back and forth several times a year, on Air France, and he's always so squashed under the seat even though he's a small cat. It looked like Pisco had plenty of room.
