Sounds just like my necrotizing Fasciitis.on my rear end close to my bowel. I am so lucky to be alive. I had a wonderful surgeon who worked for hours on me. Had to wear a colostomy bag on the middle of my stomach. I am diabetic and was under stress on the job! I am 100% cured. Have my diabetes under control!! Thank you to all you great doctors!!

Most of doctors don't know anything about what you say in 32 minutes. Most so called "doctors" after 5+ years of university have not even slightest idea what you Sir compressed in 32 minutes. I'm impressed by what I have learned ! Very educational presentation !

I contracted necrotizing fasciitis as a result of a boat ramp fall on Lake Erie. After falling back into the water it entered through breaks in my nose, teeth, facial Lacerations infecting my sinuses and beyond. First presented as Aeromonas Hydrophelia ,& sepsis,. My nose (inside), behind my left eye, and the tip of my frontal cortex were eaten away. I’ve had 6 surgeries to correct. Had sepsis a couple years prior in Jr. High so was immune compromised at the time. Since then, in my nose-sinuses I have had pseudomonas, fungal infections, and MRSA 3 times. Have also contracted cellulitis from a flu shot, double bacterial viral pneumonia, and Lymes disease due to compromised immune system. Good times!

My dad had cellulitis at first. He got admitted to the hospital he was also diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. The cellulitis was located in his uper abdomen, it was deep and pus was going out. He was having dimentia as well. After a week he got out. After a month his wound got bigger and was spreading too fast, odor was also present. He was admitted once again. After 3 days, lab results came. Surgeon had to cut his leg off. Surgeon just said infection got in his bone and that his leg has gotten black. He didn't say anything about necrotizing fasciitis. We're in the philippines btw. he then acquired pneumonia. He got better and wanted to go home, so we did. the following day he passed away.😞

Honestly if I ever get this and it causes limb loss or significant enough scarring/disfigurement/chronic pain I would likely just un alive myself. Like this is something I wouldn’t even wish upon the devil himself. The trauma alone from going through significant nec fash must have such a devastating effect on peoples sanity and quality of life. Unless I had an especially loving partner or some other close family member to make life worth clinging to, personally I’d quietly see myself out after something like this.

I got necrotising facciitis after I had my colon removed from ulcerative colitis and J pouch formation straight after my surgery the pipe inserted in my back fell out in high dependency all u remember was blood everywhere and pain, then my incision on my abdomen started to ooze mucus and look infected I was sent home and started getting sharp pain near groin back passage I was readmitted to hospital but they failed to do any scans as they couldn’t see anything surface wise until I woke up one day and the stench was like rotting flesh and pain so horrendous I passed out so many times all I remember was my groin had twisted and there was an abscess got send to emergency and again delayed doing any scans cause they were waiting for my surgeon to finish only for him to take one look and was prepped for theatre apparently my back passage groin area turned black and was put into coma waking up my jpouch had opened so my disease had spreading internally and also outside I don’t know how I’m alive but living with the trauma of this is like living in hell every day

I have nafld, type 2 diabetes, obesity, hs and have an HS abscess that has, according to the er dr, cellulitis on top of the abscess that has spread over ½ of my upper inner arm with a lot of swelling. They gave me clyndamycine, didn't lance the abscess and sent me home, since being home (4 hours) the cellulitis has spread more and it hurting like craze. I can't use my arm. I've used permanent marker to outline it to see how much it spreads when i get up in the morning. Wish me luck lol

I got staph from a full finger work out glove, on my index finger which spread to my hand. Went to quick care but the PA didn’t have a clue of what it was. He kept asking me if I do drugs(which I don’t), or if I had heart condition. He prescribed me Cephalexin, which did a little, but the infection didn’t go away. Went to Hospital ER and the MD gave me Vanco IV, and discharged me with clinda. After almost 2 months taking all these drugs the infection subsided but I still feel some spider looking spots on my fingers. Now, I don’t know what to DLL with the blood test results from the hospital. There is no follow up from them. I have chronic low WBC. Nothing works to elevate it.

@@kylepena8908 ,Bactrim DS is a broad spectrum antibiotic. He had staff infection, seems to had spread over a large area of the body. The antibacterial bath was a jump start to help keep it from infecting more skin. Antibacterial soap will kill bacteria on the skins surface, but doesn't help with the infection now once imbedded in the skin, or has reached the blood stream. I was reading the comments, and noticed he didn't answer you.

Ugh… This here is about cellulITIS. You maybe notice the ending "itis" which is Old Greek and almost always describes an inflammatory process on or within the body (e.g. gastritis, gingivitis, meningitis, arthritis etc.) Cullulitis has nothing to do with cellulite which is merely bumpy skin and more of an aesthetical issue. Whereas said cellulits and necrotizing fasciitis (again ending on itis) are very serious infectious skin diseases accompanied by intense pain, fever, swelling and/or decomposition of body tissue, gangrene and in worst cases limb amputations or death. So please don't advertise some random beauty product under a medical education video that you clearly have not even seen to tell the difference.
