The difference between plastisol and water based ink is that plastisol sits above the fabric while water-based dies into the fabric

Great info Question...once we do a sample on the DTG ...then we need to be careful on pricing our T-shirt Especially if there's multiple colours on or shirt... pricing well be than one color... thxs

You ask the printing company to give you a quote for your design for different quantity brackets. Most printshops would have minimums of maybe 25 garments screen printing so get brackets of 25/50/100/200. This way you'll know a rough price for you to target your sales. Then its time to presale your design to your people/followers and honestly its where you yourself have to commit and go bananas and sell your tshirt like crazy. The more units you sell, the cheaper each become and the more profit you get per sale. TIP: Once your presale ends, add some extras to that order so you have stock on hand for the late comers. By adding more, this allows you up your total order quantity which most likely will put you in a higher quantity bracket... meaning a cheaper price again and more profit.

Sad truth is nobody got upfront money to get 100+ minimum shirts made which is a requirement for 99% of manufacturers

Sad truth is that if shit was easy everyone would be doing it. And there are many people who order 72-144. If you can't afford it, find a shop that can do 24 piece minimums and start with simple 1-2 colors. You can also reach out and do your research for loans. There's many ways to find funding. Heck I starting my own business out of a bathroom and found my way to a fully operational shop with full time staff.

POD by definition is ‘no minimums’ I believe (which meant DTG). You can have screen printed products drop shipped but it can’t be print on demand, which implies anything is printed, even a single t-shirt. Hope that makes sense, and if I’m wrong about any of this, someone let me know!

That's the flash machine! It'll dry the ink enough so other colors can lay on top of it. You'd want to flash after a white so it's dry when another color is placed on top! But it doesn't completely cure the ink, you still want to run it through a conveyor.

"selling garments for $30-$40" LMFAO what reality is this dude from? Unless you're an established brand with mass appeal no one is paying $30-$40 for your shit. $25 is considered the cap for t shirts and $40 for a hoodie. I swear youtube is like the ultimate microcosm of bullshit these days.
