From Dutch Pour To This! How To Use Floetrol For A See Through Acrylic Pour Base + Blending Acrylic

Today I will teach you not only how to blend acrylic paint for a background but also how to make sure you see it after you do an acrylic pour on top of it. Using a medium that dries clear such as Floetrol will ensure you maintain that beautiful background and also have a medium on the canvas to help move your paints along creating a beautiful composition. BUT WAIT! The fun doesnt end there. Once I blew out the colors I let it dry and with the use of stencils and dotting paints I transformed my dutch pour into a magical midnight garden. In no way will I be the first, much less the only, one to say that I absolutely love this one; the complexity of the technique; the composition. .that's not really that complex if you just try it (as I did!😁).. Love love love!!! Gorgeous! So right up my alley. I started watching pouring videos about 3 years ago when I was going through a divorce. It was an awesome outlet and great therapy. This is by far my favorite that I have ever seen. I have not seen this technique but I definitely want to try it. Absolutely beautiful!

I would suggest sparying rhe back of the canvas next time with water so that way it unwarps your canvas and it also allows for a better blend transitions. I love the colors so much this is one of my 😍favorites

Oh yes I am trying this! I needed a way to add some fluid colors in certain places in a painting and was trying to figure out how to do on dry canvas and here you are!! Once again showing a technique I wouldn’t have thought of but is perfect!!! Tks Tammy😉
