Twins heal when the difference in their remaining health gets too large. There is no way of stopping them when healing, but you can prevent them if you target both of them intermittently.

I usually try to focus down the ranged one(orange I think) and force the blue guy to stop attacking and come heal

Smart Rifle + Toxin Grenades (with high potency) is going to be insane since Acid potency just absolutely buffs all damage to insane levels and Smart Rifle with lots of fire rate and reload with the piercing OCs just hoses.

Focus the ranged Twin at all times, especially with a build like this with all the aoe. Otherwise when twin health goes down to unevenly it triggers the heal. By constantly chasing the ranged a hole, you end up killing them both with your aoe effects at the same time, without triggering the heal phase, where they cant be hurt.

You stop the Twins from healing by keeping damage even. I think they only healed once when you ran grenades.

The biggest problem of this gun was the log on time... why whould i use a weapon wich need couple if secs to log on a target be4 it fires..... while other just shoot all time an kill.

the favourite would have been a good choice since neither electric fence nor the shard defractor care about fire rate. you would loose some fire rate on the warthog but... you the warthogs true power is the breakthrough and the absurd damage... also regaining the 30% firerate wouldnt have been that hard to achieve... also i think ionized plasma on the defractor would have been the better choice since you already got the nitrate powder... i guess you where kinda distracted with all the talking there... yeah magnets are way too rare in the full release... in the demo i got so many of them but here... no matter which channel: everyone has a hard time getting magnets... now i want to see this rework the smartrifle got for the bug tazer. #makebugtazergreatagain :D

yeah bug taser needs buffs. i also think status effect for electric needs buffs. it has all these crit buffs but status effect cannot crit. maybe make electric debuff able to critical so it is uniquely different from other status effects.

2:00 range is best[& "only" good overclock] on this level for warthog :P also if you think about it you can't increase range with any other means also plasma is shit on this weapon bounces but dmg feels lower imo plasma is only good for turrets :P Smart rifle was good before it was you who never upgraded it in correct way :P imagine if you took electric instead of fire on shard refractor with all those beams = loot of crits^ for other weapons^ Warthog would shine to[in post match stats/but maybe thats for better for smart gun] if you had range on it^ it's the "same problem" as with minigun or smart gun it neads more management on where you are & what you face ;/ Also if you look on dmg then the warthog is 6,6 mil+18,2mil electric = ~25 mil dmg. Fire done only 3 mil dmg with all those beams :P Imo it's really sad in this game that you can't pick starting weapon from unlocked pool as first one[of course from possible class weapons] +comment for algorithm^

Plasma is the best upgrade for the warthog, it allows the weapon to deal damage regardless of where you are facing and the bounces allow it to deal damage many times to enemies. Together with the Akimbo overclock, you get double the damage because the weapon shoots in both directions, and both sides bounce from walls and enemies, so no damage is wasted. By far the best upgrade path on all levels. Even if you get electric, the second best upgrade type, rather than weapon range, it is better to take the Gas rerouting anyway, because the weapon has plenty of range to hit enemies, especially since the amount of enemies you can hit with your weapon range is limited by the pierce on the weapon. With basic range the weapon reaches more than halfway across the screen, which is more than enough to do maximum damage, and with Plasma is will bounce for further than the screen length, so it will always end up hitting something. Perhaps if you have a full grenade build that blows up all the walls, range becomes better than the Gas rerouting as it might struggle to hit something and bounce before the projectile expires, but that is very rare and you don't need the warthog upgraded when you have offensive grenades instead.

Also disagree. Range is much worse on warthog than other stats and plasma is best upgrade. “Damage feels lower imo” lol

@@TheMichalkorejtko Gas rerouting is definitely better than salvage here, because the reload and fire rate are multiplicative upgrades. Salvage is only worth it if you're offered two useless upgrades, like explode on reload and cold damage, when you aren't going for any cold damage and want to keep kinetic instead, or want to look for another conversion (Cold damage is really good when you do use it).
