A 2D animation showing the evolution of whales, starting with Indohyus and ending with a modern blue whale. This was my final project for Honors in Art at the University of Iowa.
Assets drawn in Procreate. Animated in After Effects. Sounds from freesound.org.

There was an important transition halfway through this video, when they had changed to the point that they could no longer come up on the land. Previous to this the whales were more like seals; this change required the whales and dolphins to sleep, give birth, and raise their young in the water.

i love how it took millions of years for the fish to become amphibians, reptiles, then mammals etc. and at some point some mammals was like fuck it, go back to the water and became the biggest fish ever which actually can't breathe underwater and screams to navigate

Excellent and very brilliant. The only detail to criticize would be the way I rebuild Indohyus indirae. Today, small artiodactyls such as duikers, mouse deer, and dik-dik (which are Indohyus analogs, not only in physical appearance but also in that some of them can dive into water to escape a predator) are animals graceful and keeping the neck in an elevated position, not straight. Except for these details, the other reconstructions are perfect.

@@caviramus0993 So if Gingerich and Tweissen both, on camera, admit that they did not have evidence they claimed they had it is falsified because a Christian did the interview? They lied to the Christian interviewer. And they lied to the museums they sold molded skeletons to. But because a Christian exposed the lie, on camera, then faked fossils meant to mislead the public are ok. You have a problem. You can believe what ever you like. I only try to expose some of the fraud in evolutionary science. If you want to believe that Rodhocetus had a fluked tail be my guest.
