Following her breakthrough World Championship win in Kona, PTO Triathlon star Chelsea Sodaro has called for greater equality in sport, arguing that women should not have to choose between being world class athletes and being mothers.
In an intimate film produced by the PTO, Chelsea also talks about the inspiration and encouragement she has taken from other mums; the huge role played by her husband, Steve, and her family during her return from childbirth 18 months ago; and how support from the athlete-owned PTO has also been a key factor.

She is ahead of time…teaches many lessons beyond physical, and psychological victory’s . Her life story should be included in top 100.

She’s so amazing. I can’t imagine having the energy right after child birth training and competing against people who aren’t. I wish I had such a supportive spouse and family with regards to my training. I love that having children isn’t a barrier to your progress.
