I'm glad people are recognising Penn's talent, he's absolutely incredible at what he does and I honestly can't wait to see what he gets up to in the future with more YOU & other projects. He's creepily convincing as Joe Goldberg but when you watch interviews of him or just him in general he's the polar opposite, truly amazing talent! Plus he's just effortlessly funny and seems like a real down-to-earth guy.

Only in the beginning. When he grew it out and it was curly but well kept and had a good cut, he was hot as hell.

It was his idea. He didn't want to deal with another bad haircut, so he told them to just shave it off. The producers gave him permission, but were shocked when they saw him on set.

Can you believe “You” originally premiered on lifetime and they had the nerve to cancel the show. If it wasn’t for netflix, the show never wouldn’t have went on, considering this is one of the best shows on Netflix to date 😩🙏🏻

They did one season on lifetime partner with Netflix but season two didn’t really fit lifetime so they moved it to Netflix.

He's not big on being a public figure outside of acting. Check his social media, if you didn't know him you almost wouldn't know he was an actor.

@@xxyyzz9791 lmaooo 😭 i literally watched him on gossip girl first, where he played dan humphrey. while most people only know him from “you” i’ve known he was an actor even before i started watching movies/shows with him in it. i follow all his social medias since i’m a big fan. i am aware that he is a very private guy. i was asking a rhetorical question if it isn’t obvious by now 💀

Typecasting means money. Samuel L Jackson is rich as hell, successful and a typecast actor lol. I’d rather be typecast then not at least from getting the gig perspective .

he was great in the first few seasons! you could tell that they pulled him being GG out of their ass due to all the plot holes it caused. they should've just kept it anonymous or planned from the beginning.

In fact, he was very good in his scenes with Dan Blair. He took good care of her and became a good friend and lover. Dan was good most of the time. He helped other characters

Am I the only one who thinks Badgley would be a great Reed Richards in the MCU? His character on You and Reed Richards have a lot in common. Calm, intelligent, and emotionally distant with an obsessive need to control things. Of course Mr. Fantastic is super tonally different from Joe, but the basics are there. Plus he look and sounds the part really well.
