Ive been working in the trades as a hvac/r technician for the last 8 years, but im tired of it and ready for a new career that isn't as physically tasking as my current and more lucrative. I am a USAF Veteran (returned to University for a career change, I have my BSc degree then MSc in Forensic Accounting). I am building my next career as a Forensic Accountant or similar profession as an Investigator, especially with technology and/or cybercrimes. I feel this interviewee seems to be over-exaggerating on a few things. I will continue to listen to interview to hear the interviewee's work experience. 22oct23

You are very UNLIKELY to get a DoD/Govt job WITHOUT a Clearance, and most companies will NOT sponsor your Clearance. I’m a Retired Vet who have been Gov tech for years. 💯💯

False. People get sponsored for clearances everyday you just need to know where to look. I got my clearance at 18 never served. I've helped hundreds get sponsored clearances.

That’s not true at all. I work in Government contracting. It’s good to have a certification to get in the door. The contract may require the person to have a certain cert and they will sponsor your clearance. I just reviewed a resume and my company was willing to sponsor someone and pay relocation fee.
