I found a bird outside because of the havy rain and wind it fall of and the nest is also destroyed and i don't know which species it is... i wanna help the bird what can i do..... i think it might be the baby owl and its 1 week older but I'm not sure

Yesterday Found a baby owl of 35-40 days. it means i have to keep it safe for 2 months...? anyone help to make me sure. Thanks a lot for this helpful video

If, by the time you read this comment, the owlet is fine, you should call a wildlife rescue center. They will look after it way better than anyone could.

So I found a baby great horned and he looks 55 days old, what could I do, he was stuck in a construction area somehow and it damaged his wing. He's super beautiful but also a bad ass. Let me know what I could do

You could maybe sneak in the construction site and get the owl so you can take care of it. Or just tell the people who are working at the construction site to take the owl the GCWR (Gold Country Wildlife Rescue).

How did you train this owl to hunt before releasing it?

i'm no expert, but i doubt they need to. like a cat, they see something scutling around and their instincts tell them to pounce on it. i expect their silent flight and stalk takes somepractice, but it's the same with a cat. you don't teach a cat how to silently stalk it prey and stay low to the ground.

They do usually get some training in the mew on live animals to show they can hunt

but it's such a shame that they took pictures with flash on, it actually could hurt his eyes, and it's done many times (that's why his eye balls look so small in the pictures i think) :(
