First of all, amazing video. You're collection is truly beautiful. Also I could really relate to your problems as a fellow bird breeder with 10 years of experience at the age of 18. The ups feel great and the downs feel so bad but at the end of the day. It is still nature and those things just happen. We always try our bests so try to not blame yourself too hard if you make mistakes. My dream is practically what you have already, amazing collection, good breeding setups and aviaries. I currently have 2 aviaries of my own with parakeets with rare colormorphs and king quails but I have to put the hobby on pause cause I'm going to uni next year. Glad my parents are willing to continue for the time I'm away so I don't loose the bloodline. Anyways, it always brings me joy to watch a fellow breeder talk about his passion. Thanks for the video, sad about the Rosellas, I was warned when I was looking for breeding stock to be careful, he stated husbandry issues in Florida and California, had no idea what that meant though. I also heard there's a lot of PBFD in Rosellas.

Secret with plumheads is to leave them to it. Checking boxes tends to make plumheads do silly things. Ive had them kill chicks and abandon eggs. As soon as i gave up and just left them alone i started having greater success.

African species can be a pain in the @ss lol. I have weavers and they built nests last year, but none this year lmao. Such finicky little guys. You could look at them and they will stop breeding LOL.

The parrets dont look In good condition ,they dont ment too be in so small cage , rosella have too smalll cages in eu is 3-6 meters ore 20 feet Long
