This video was so emotional for me. It just spoke to me. I used to be a lukewarm christian for my whole life. I would do things like watching pornography that I knew deep down in my heart wasn't right, and I was going to church too because my parents are religious. Just like you I used to hate church and would dread having to get up in the morning to do something that I didn't enjoy doing (at that time). It wasn't until I got baptized in the summer of this year that I've really put in the effort to pursue God. It's not easy at all. But I want to trust in God that He is with me through it all and that we will guide me. I have such a hard time obeying Him and just submitting to Him and I don't want to disobey Him. It's just all the fear of rejection and worry built up inside me that I pray God heals because I want to become a true discipline of Jesus Christ. I want to become a doer of His Word and not just a sayer. There are currently people in my life (2 friends) that I feel God is telling me to keep my distance from. But I'm not sure if God is actually saying that or if it's just me. I've tried telling them the gospel but they've just shrugged it off. I don't know what to do. I want God to be pleased with me. My name is Witchenie, please pray for me that God would just change me from the inside out, give me boldness to spread the gospel, to let Him do His will for me in my life, and just to overall submit myself to Him. This video brings tears into my eyes, because I finished school in 2020. I've applied for a course to be a chef, my application was rejected. But I kept praying for myself, until God heard me. With God's mercy I did my course in 2023, I've graduated and I'm so grateful for that. During my study times I got hurt, and I lost one of my body parts. I feel so embarrassed by myself, I can't even lie. But I'm grateful that I didn't lose my. Hey Khensi. I'm Slondiwe and I'm a grade 12 student who's a lukewarm Christian. Well before I say anything else, I'd like to say thank you for sharing your testimony with us. I know it's weird but eversince I had a desire to be fully on fire for God, your KZfaq channel was one of the channels that I subscribed to in order to get some tips and help on that, however, whenever these channels(including yours) would post something related to God, I would always find myself skipping them. I think sometimes i feel as though Christianity and/or people that are on fire for God intimidate me because then I start thinking of how I'm not there yet and how I always go back to what I wish to leave behind. Well nonetheless, today this video showed up on my home page and something told me to watch it. I literally had to think twice before I decided to do so, but now I'm glad that I watched this because I think what intimidated me about you is how I thought you just happened to love God so easily with no hardships along the way. Now that I know your testimony, I feel less alone and I have hope that I too can still change. I'm feeling the exact same way as you used to feel. I feel a void and melancholy, literally out of the blue sometimes and I'm struggling to get over some unhealthy habits. I've tried mood stabilizers(because I used to have depression but now, I just feel as though, I'm just used to the depressive episodes that it's hard not to welcome pain and sadness...so it's just the remaining side effects) and I'm still attending to my unresolved inner conflicts through online sessions with a life coach but I always feel like there's a missing element which is God. I mean, I know He is with me but I tend to not be with Him, if that makes sense. Overall, this really helped me think about what I'm going to do going forward to try and achieve my goal of being a full on fire daughter of the most high. Everyone who is going through something similar or something way above their control, I wish you all the best with your journey with God
