Handful of local guys here in NJ did the same thing. 2 are a full time business & 3 do it on the side / part time. I'm certainly envious, I love to fabricate just never had the balls to do it for others.

Not uncommon. Most of the older racers built their own cars. Heck we even built our own pro stock in the 90’s. We weren’t as successful as the big names but there are a lot of them out there such as ourselves that struggled against the people that ran cubic dollars.

I used to race with Wally when he had the 68' before he built it into a racecar. Shuffletown and Shadyside, actually visited the shop in his early days to ask about backhalving a 79' Malibu, always liked Wally. I think he started in his dads truck garage if I'm not mistaken.

Wally’s A Really Cool Guy. Loved it when He was at the four wide race in Charlotte a couple of years ago and had a .002 or .003 RT. light racing against Greg Anderson in their Pro Stock Race. Too bad Greg maybe had 20-50 more horsepower and won. It Looked Good On TV..!!
