I made some drone review videos on KZfaq, but I wasn't getting paid.
I finally found some shoots that aligned with what I wanted to do, and I got to share other people's passions, their passions for ski bikes.
I helped them create content to promote their business. It looked like a lot of fun, and I enjoyed snowboarding down the mountain while capturing those beautiful winter views with my drone.
This was all made possible because of Kai's FPV camp. I learned how to find work as a content creator and how to pitch to clients.
When I was thinking about filming with the Avata 2, I knew I wanted to film action sports and not be a rogue drone anymore.
The backcountry shoot was the beginning, and there are going to be more races and events that I can document.
It was just a fun time, and I got to create content around that. We can share it with you guys and hopefully inspire you to go out and backcountry.
It's cool to see everything falling into place, and I'm looking forward to growing these relationships. One of the most exciting things was filming backcountry winter sports. We met up, drove to a location, set up, and then I flew the drone. We chased them down the mountain as they did a run, and then we did it again a few more times.
It was fun, but this part of the story is about finding your passion and creating to share that passion with others.
There's a lot of other content that I want to make, but we'll get to that next time!
