I did not order a runway pice but from the Kusama collection, i think if one really love the pices and they are limited and you know that resellers charge twice it is very tempting to try. It did not work out for me entirely but the SA was very helpful and kind to me after two orders not working out. But the stress have left an impact and i have found myself needing a good break for some time. Also knowing VIP customers have higher prioriy puts me off as an ethical concern since i could end up paying a lot for preorders and not get anything due to prioritized customers, every time......since i would always be a shrimp at the bottom of the luxury store hierarchy. This is why i like Hermés, even customers with low purchase history have a chance, it is more about attitude and relationship and having graceful patience rather than showing loyalty buy using a lot of money in preorders you might not even get.....that said, LV is creative and create beautiful art but my tip, just have enough money you dont care about if you are going to buy there.

I had wondered about the pink side trunk, so beautiful in the pictures! Since I saw the very first side trunk, I had the feeling that there would be more side trunks coming with different collections. I hope! 🤞

Really interesting and informative Meredith! I got some of the same grainy photos too but mine were later - just before they dropped. I know the MNG Clutch has come out in the blue, red and black. There is also a monogram one (normal monogram not nanomonogram). I have also seen the checked colourful one in store and it's beautiful. I think LV thought this style was going to be popular as they were planning to bring it out in many forms. However, they are all easily available so it maybe has not been the hit they hoped. I have still yet to see one in store so that is why I haven't bought yet. I need to see in flesh. Fab video - love hearing how it all works. x

The return is tricky since you could get " marked". The fear of being marked and have an even more difficult process about ordering could lead to toxic psychological dependency issues where boundaries get blurred and resentment could kick in. Then it is perhaps a trick to actually not be bothered about the money spent on preorders, to be able to not be bothered you would need a calm attitude or be so rich that the fact of being out of thousands of dollars does not affect you at all. It is a luxury and not necessity these stores provide of service, i think it could be easy to forget when the clever marketing strategy makes customers get excited and maybe even a tiny bit obsessive.

I didn’t find this video rambling at all; I thought it was really fascinating and I enjoyed it. I’m sad you wasn’t able to get everything you ordered especially the pink Side Trunk. Is it something that you could do a made to order? That would be awesome! I’m so sorry that you had a bad reaction to that serum but I think you look beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing.
