Por qué trabajan sobre el piso?. Hay algún problema con usar mesas y trabajar erguido? Además de que no es buena postura para trabajar pueden dañar el producto terminado por arrastrarlo sobre el piso con desperdicios de la producción. No se trata sólo de fabricar, hay que optimizar los procesos, guardar la ergonomía, reducir defectos, etc. Los modelos para esto ya están inventados hace mucho tiempo. Sólo tienen que aprenderlos y seguirlos.

@@skillspanda2.0 La pregunta fué "¿por qué trabajan en el piso?". Y si esos productos se exportan deben adaptarse a los estándares de calidad y procesos internacionales. La época de hacer las cosas "puertas adentro" ya terminó. El que quiere competir en el mercado mundial se debe adaptar.

One of the things that has impressed me the most through all these videos is the safety of the workers in Pakistan and India. They don't even wear safety workboots! I don't even want to imagine the number of accidents that must be and the consequences of these

No safety boots or other personal protection equipment; working on machines with no guards to protect against injury; floors dangerously littered and many more safety hazards. Whilst I understand the workers' need to support themselves and their families, I cannot countenance their employers' disgusting avarice. For this reason I personally boycott ANY products from Pakistan until such time as the Government and the majority of companies can demonstrate a practical commitment to employee safety. A less corrupt Government would prosecute the employers once the appropriate laws were in place.
