I'm not sure about the movies of Darshan. However, Dileep's movies were popular for the comedy content and families loved them. So, still people think that he has been targeted and he won't do such crimes. I don't know when people will be able to differentiate that movie character and their actual character, and stop justifying them.

Why are you concerned?All the general public including me wanted him banned infact need to impose a cancel culture on his film as a whole. Dileep had the whole media backing him and whitewashing him. I don't know why are you talking of this issue as if asking to ban dileep was something unjust. Even legendry actors like Thilakan was banned for the whimsical wishes of the people in power there. If you call for ban of another actor for his henious crimes do just that. If AmmA has some issue they should express their disapproval on the matter to them. I won't think they will do that anyway. Like Amma is any better than kannada film fraternity lol

I live close to Darshan’s house in RR Nagar Bangalore.. I don’t see any humdrum here.. The fans who are mentioned are a few hundreds and mostly unemployed youth from low income background.. And All the social media support probably is paid PR to garner support..

Very true, online abuse is the actual issue, but the way of handling it was inhumane. There are so many better ways to tackle the situation. Given his influence, he could have easily gotten that guy arrested, but he chose to take matters into his hands that ended in a disaster. Now he has to face the consequences.

There is a REASON why they're termed "Mass"... they form a bulk of most communities... Kannadigas are no exception... There's a REASON why hero-based films with a Villain, A love story and an item dance are prerequisites to making a movie a hit in Kannada.. I could be wrong in terms of the last 2-3 years, but at least up until then, my opinions are correct.

I am not fan of Darshan but you are just portrayed negative side or one side. He build his career without background for 25 years. He didn't get fans over night. If darshan did wrong he must be punished according to Law.

No matter what Darshan does, some people file a police complaint. Darshan has been given a lot of torture by the media, see how hard the media is trying to spoil Darshan's image in Karnataka. It must be said that the media has forgotten ethics. Darshan is a good person but sometimes situations make him a monster, if he can control such behavior then he is definitely a gentle person. Media and social media are also a reason for this behavior. Mainly don't poke your nose into any person's personal life. Leave their personal lives to them. No one is perfect, everyone has some flaws. Darshan is a great example of how bad messaging and comments, bad trolling and taunting can destroy a person's life.

Journalism has definitely lost its credibility these days, no doubt about that.. but making that as an excuse to defend Darshan and his behaviour is very silly.. He has done some good deeds but that doesn't give him a licence to do all other activities.. he has been a repeated offender and he used to dodge cos of his personality these days but that's not the case anymore..

You're saying that Darshan is slightly flawed despite having multiple Domestic Violence charges, Assault charges and now a Murder charge. Let's still think these are just flaws. Then you should consider the victim Renuka Swamy also to be a slightly flawed person, because all he did was send bad and abusive messages to Pavithra from an anonymous account. If what Renuka Swamy did was wrong, then definitely Darshan is also wrong. And as for bad comments destroying one's life, he could've easily handled the matter with his influence. If he wanted, he could've taken legal action against Renuka Swamy. But this was his choice: It shows his aggressive and abusive mindset. He doesn't value another person's life nor does he respect the loyalty that his wife has shown on him, because he had affairs not once, but twice. You can still say that circumstances changed him into a monster, but facts will remain facts.
