Playing our first They Are Billions community custom map called "From The Ashes"! In short, this map is incredible. Amazing. Best one ever? Perhaps. This They Are Billions custom map has a story, game critical decisions to face, buildings to interact with and even a boss fight at the end!

About They Are Billions:
They Are Billions is a Steampunk strategy game set on a post-apocalyptic planet. Build and defend colonies to survive against the billions of the infected that seek to annihilate the few remaining living humans. Can humanity survive after the zombie apocalypse?
In my videos, typically I only cover the final wave in which billions of zombies come to try and destroy your Command Center while trying out crazy strategies. From making 2000 snipers, hundreds of Titans, Shock Towers Only, you name it; I like to have fun and try some crazy stuff! I don't really go over beating the game, or necessarily make the 'Best Defense Possible' because I aim to make these videos as epic and entertaining as possible.
Of course, whenever They Are Billions gets a new update I will cover that as well. Since They Are Billions is still in Beta, the game will be getting plenty more updates including new towers, new zombies, new wonders, a campaign, and much much more!
When covering these updates, I'll show off what the new updates add to the game as well as try to do something crazy against the final wave as well.
They Are Billions custom map gameplay is a big thing now too since the release of the custom map editor in the new update. The map editor allows anyone to make any scenario in They Are Billions, from having 100 giants attack at once to spawning in a thousand Rangers!

that whole time since you've visited the 'butcher' in her tent and stationed a guard promising you'd come back for them.. you finally had the energy in the end kibs.. YOU NEVER DID! broke your promise kibs! I was looking forward to them being rescued for 30mins.. waiting waiting.. :(

Not in the early versions of my map that you played. I think you started with V 0.8 (initial release) and ended up on V 0.8.1 after one of the first cuts. Leaving guards for the wounded is accounted for now, and you do have the option of going back if you seal the tent or even keeping the clinic running. The map has come a long way from its initial release (17 updates so far, and V 0.9 is around the corner).

Super cool map and end strategy. I think stationing the Lucifer's behind the barrels so the Giant would be standing on the barrels when they exploded might have had more effect though.

Also, you are able to restore power, contrary to what the messages say. I restored power to the whole map and mass produced titans and soldiers before fighting the giant lol

Well it's kinda vague because it could've been 'one use' as in once I left the menu I couldn't choose any more options after that, which is what I was thinking it might be. It would've been more clear if it just said 'you can only choose one option'.

Personally? Could never bring myself to like Lucifers. For all the damage they do, they can't shoot over walls, and they are as deadly to your own units as the zombies. That means mixed unit compositions are OUT, and sealing off units behind walls for protection is pointless (both are my bread and butter). Thank you but I'll rock my soldiers and snipers until the Titans and Thanatos can play, tyvm.

Refer to Steam on PC requirements, but from my experience I think most PC's should run this fine. The game will probably lag before your computer does :P

Running the game is not an issue for any PC. The issue will be when a few thousand zombies appear on map it'll consume your CPU and ask for seconds. Stellaris is like this.

I played this map all wrong, I had like 80 archers by the end, it took me forever to kill the giant.

Fun to watch but frustrating because you aren’t very good and all your mistakes are hard to watch because I can see them getting your guys killed. Not being mean, just honest! I certainly enjoy watching you play though!

Generally speaking, the best way to do things isn't that entertaining in this game (ie only using snipers and leaving all other units, kiting the Giant with a Ranger, ect). I like to mess around a bit and usually that results in a LOT of my units dying xD
