The strobes are not in SmartSync mode for the walk test. He disabled them to make sure the speakers are working. Also, not all the speaker/strobes in this building are synchronizable. The alarms in this building are Simplex 4903-9146 (FreeRun) Simplex 4903-9150 (FreeRun/SmartSync) Simplex 4906-9151 (SmartSync) Simplex 4906-9153 (SmartSync)

@@josephfrye7342 That may not mean it is an addressable system. In fact, the TrueAlerts don't have a red blinker in the strobes like the addressable ones. The reason for the specific model numbers up top is because the older 4903s have a green asterisk, which tells us the strobe is 15CD and the newer ones have the sticker that says 15CD. These 4903s remind of alarms that I found in a YMCA, except the alarms that I found are in fact brighter rated at 110CD using the same exact speakers as these alarms (Orange triangle or 110CD sticker) instead of these not as bright 15CD models using the green asterisk or 15CD sticker. And yes the 110CD models have different model numbers such as the 4903-9144 and 4903-9149. Also since the YMCA is in Massachusetts, it will probably play a different tone than what you have heard here.
