I'm no tank main, but in the last few seasons I find myself volunteering to be the tank or roamer, because a dogshit tank usually means a bad game and I don't want to waste time fighting a losing game Cheers buddy

I've been playing Ixia for a while, and I can say, she's always been so fckin annoying for my opponents.

She's fun to play no cap, but it isn't hard to deal with her early game.

@@Sanyul1998 her stun is already annoying if you're using a hero who can't really reach her in time

@@notfex1427 her early isn't an issue, It's her late game that becomes a hindrance, the ult can't be interrupted by alot of cc skills making it really hard to cancel or burst her down if you don't get out the range

@@sidejyll9667, that's why I mentioned the early game. You shut her down completely and not allow her to farm too much, her late game won't be a problem. All she can do is defend with her ult but since she'll be weak, a few defensive items and WoN and she's nothing to worry about. It's like this for any MMs, Ixia is no different.

I got a memorable game with Atlas where enemies were dominating the game because 4 out of 5 players (including me) got a pretty high and unstable ping. I thought we were already lost when enemies were about to end the game. But then I suddenly flicker ult 4 of the enemies and we managed to win that game (for me it's a game that we're not supposed to win) because of that lucky 4 man ult.

I don't think ixia has always been strong. Ixia's release had one of the worst performances at some 44% to 45% wr and some 0.5% pick rate meaning she only trailed ahead of vexana and nana so they had to her buff her. Fredrinn and Novaria's release were at least popular in tournaments until they peaked although I think novaria and fredrinn only made their resurgence recently due to the nerfs of other mages while fredrinn just hard counter several assassins since he builds full tank and one shots squishies with his ult once he loses enough hp. Ixia became meta because of a meta shakeup where her good matchups became popular especially in gold lane where Irithel and bruno dominate in pick rates and they don't do too well into her (although in lower ranks hanabi and layla are more popular but im pretty sure Ixia does beat them too) and her bad matchups got nerfed like claude who used to just ignore her during laning up and farm until he got DHS and Beatrix who just carried a lot of burst but her best gun got nerfed. While Ixia's new ult adjustment was nice, it's mostly there to cover her late game which she was lacking since she has a great laning phase with the healing from her passive but her late game performances was hampered by bad basic attack animations (think pre-buff Layla who used to have a longer delay on her basic attack before her buff).

@@MyTran-gn4rk ixia only had bad winrate because there was no one who knew how to build her, everyone just used either crit or trinity build (which in that time, she couldn't use none of those). Ixia always had an incredible atk scaling for her first skill that combines really good with bod, and endless battle to poke, sustain mana and the basic after her skill spam, she never needed that much atk speed more than corroscion scythe, even with the slow animation, first skill was all the dmg she needed. Thats why she got buffed on her ult basic attacks but nerfed on the syphon damage, they just made her more viable for trinity build

​@@fffffhxthe main Problem of Ixia was her Ult it was very useless its range was small and deal so low dmg that anyone can just walk out of it before getting their HP below30% and the only thing she was good was in team fight but which was also kinda useless as in high rank MM are always the first priority in team fight and she was very easy to caught

@@fffffhx Ixia’s gameplay is rather easy and during her release the pros said that she needed a buff even after playing 30 matches with them. Her first skill’s damage scaling got buffed not so long ago so she started doing pretty well and then they changed her again and stuff like Beatrix and Claude got nerfed so she started thriving especially with the fact that healer supports became meta which helped her survive better which she previously lacked due to not having anything but a speed boost on her kit. Her build has always have the same core items unless you are telling me you were in epic or below watching people build critical chance or the 3 trinity items on her even though she only used corrosion scythe and DHS without GS so I don’t know where you got that idea from. Also as I mentioned already she has counters the current top meta marksman being Irithel and Bruno pretty well while her bad match ups like Claude and Beatrix got nerfed causing a popularity drop for them which benefitted Ixia. So yeah, it is more about outside factors in a perfect storm that helped Ixia climb up the ranks from dead on arrival to a top tier MM.

Nah I'm happy if I'm bronze as long as those death are not a waste like when I play Arlott they always focus me always 4v1 leaving their mm behind and our mm is overfed and we won because they only fear one hero.

The problem about playing the game casually and playing as pro is coordination People in rank for example think yve is bad because she isn’t picked as much however in pro games yve is always banned and if not it’s almost always picked because of yve’s ults ability to demand so much map control and this is possible of coordination by the team that has probably hundreds upon ,upon hundreds hours on scrims coordinating in a vc And rank it’s people just want to play game go kill haha
