A brief treatment of some of Tombstone's most famous history. I loved researching this as you can tell from the video. It was so cool to have studied the history and then be on the streets where the events occurred.
Here are some great resources on Tombstone history generally and the OK Corral incident specifically.
Tombstone by Tom Clavin amzn.to/3upybJV
An incredibly well-researched book about Tombstone and the dynamics behind the events leading to the OK Corral. I loved this book.
Helldorado by William Breakenridge amzn.to/3OKxr8Z
Fascinating treatment from someone who lived through the OK Corral incident and later wrote about it from his perspective as a deputy of Sheriff Behan, one of Wyatt Earp's rivals in both love and law.
Ride the Devil's Herd by John Boessenecker amzn.to/49RQoPp
Another very well-researched treatment.

I really enjoyed my day in Tombstone and my photo with the actors playing the Earps, with Doc Holiday offering me his arm will be my favorite. I started the day at Boothill Cemetary. I found the history of Lucky Cuss fascinating!

This brings back memories. I was raised in Silver City, NM. My dad loved anything Western. Mogollon, NM and Tombstone were two favorite places of his. Thank you. I enjoyed the visuals along with your sharing. I love reading and I am a retired librarian.

Love the history of the old west! In college, I took every class they had on it. Would love to hear/see more, even if you don't visit a place, you could show photos of the area and tell us some of the little known facts, or like my class back when, the myth (or movie) versus the truth!
