타이틀곡 ‘DM’은 새벽 탈출에 성공한 프로미스나인이 좋아하는 이에게 다가가 과감하게 사랑을 고백하는 순간의 설렘을 담은 곡으로, 반짝이는 도시의 밤과 본격적으로 사랑이 시작될 것만 같은 두근거리는 순간을 함께 경험할 수 있는 곡이다. 아련한 느낌의 코드 진행과 펑키한 베이스 라인이 돋보이며 시원하게 터지는 후렴 파트가 인상적인 팝 장르의 곡이다.
Midnight Guest follows the story of fromis_9 making an escape from home past midnight, promising an exciting visit to those undergoing a colorless night of boredom. Listeners are guided to vicariously live the moments of breaking free and of traversing through bright colors of the night in the city, of which thrills and unexpected encounters are vividly laid across the tracks.
Driven by elements of pop, "DM" portrays the excitement of breaking free and the feelings of a racing heart from confessing one’s feelings to their crush. The track paints a picture of a bright city night and a sense of love as it first begins to grow, through a sentimental chord progression and a funky bass line. Laced with fromis_9’s endearing charms, the striking chorus of the track instantly hooks the listener in.

Fromis_9 just won their third win on Show Champion. MBC didn't cut their encore, and Fromis_9 sang live clearly, Hayeong even sang the high note whistle at the end. They hold their tears til the end, then holding each others crying. So touching! Fromis_9 fighting!😀

나경 /Nakyeong/ = Nakyung 하영 /Hayeong/ = Hayoung 채영 /Chaeyeong/ = Chaeyoung 지선 /Jiseon/ = Jisun 지헌 = Jiheon 서연 = Seoyeon I can read and speak their name correctly, so I really don't care much how their Latin name. and I can tell you most of Kpop idols' Latin names are presented in the way English speakers (?) can read more similarly to their correct name, and sometimes it was just that their name look more beautiful in writing (???). They dont really know how their name would be read in that way. For example, 하영, 나경 and 채영 have the name vowel in their name but Nakyung chose "yu" while Hayoung and Chaeyoung chose "you" but all of them supposed to be "yeo".

@@taeechaee they started off with ok songs and their cute concept was during an era of girl crush mania, so they had really slow start. Pop is about what is new and trendy so if you don’t take off within the first 3 years after debut, it’s hard to catch up with peers. But fromis9 has a lot of male fans so they definitely are considered up there in the visual’s department these days

My girlies be really out here flexing their vocals, visuals & dance like its no one's business! They are so perfectly gorgeous but Chaeng really owned this era! She's on the different level of gorgeousness! And Hanyang! My goodness she's owning all the high notes, I don't know if it was a whistle or very high falsetto. And Syeon's fashion here is literally my style and it suites her perfectly! My girlies really deserve all these recognition! fromis_9 went through a lot more than you think. They deserve all the love in this world. 💚

The vocals are literally crazy?? I didn’t know these girls can sing so well, I usually don’t keep up with Fromis_9’s music after when talk to talk brought me back to them and eversince then, i realised that they were actually releasing bops and I feel so sad knowing I wasn’t present on those eras!! Fighting Fromis_9!! I hope DM becomes the era that will finally get the GP and the whole entire KPOP community appreciate their efforts!!

This is gorgeous. Things to note. First, the aspect ratio. Most of it is cropped to more of a 5:4, which is non-traditional, and it’s more focused than a wide. Second, a lot of it has a more saturated pseudo-film feel. Combined with the city feel, I think they’re referencing older films specifically City and urban coming of age films, and then when they widen the screen, they’re creating the central spectacle. It’s a gorgeous music video, very informed by cinematic themes especially from East New Wave Cinema!

곡 진짜 잘 뽑혔다. 근래에 들었던 모든 장르의 곡들 중 거의 탑. 우선 멜로디가 설레고 들뜨는 동시에 울컥하게 만들어주는 세련된 인디팝적인 감성인데다 어느 시간대, 어느 장소에서든 부담없이 편하게 들을 수 있는 깔끔하고 세련된 그야말로 팝적인 편곡과 구성, 그리고 이번 곡으로 처음 그 매력과 진가를 알게된 보컬들. doesn’t matter와 후반부 돌고래 애드립 파트는 정말 이게 극락이다 싶다.

This is one of those songs that is added to the list of “Songs that will be impossible to do a proper cover to”. As a flover since DKDK I’m so incredibly proud of the growth that the girls have been through. To be honest, I never know about this band before. I haven’t been k-pop fans for around 4 years since a lot of things have been changed in the industry. But this song from Fromis_9 catches my heart the first time I hear this. The catchy, easy listening and emphasizing the real vocal are the best kind of song. Please produce more more song that is easy to listen and can be viral easily more. Because of this, I became interested in k-pop again. Thanks to Fromis_9. Now I became fans.

fromis_9 deserves more attention. They started off not as popular as other survival show groups but they worked hard and stayed together for a long time. its amazing how well they always keep their spirit up. I love all of them and its very unlikely for me to love all members from a survival show so fromis_9 are exceptional💞

유리구두때 처음 알아서 위고때부터 관심을 가지기 시작했는데 프로미스나인이 이렇게 여러 방면에서 대단한 걸그룹인지 몰라서 더욱 놀랐었고 여돌을 이렇게 진심을 다해 좋아해본적 없는데 알면알수록 너무 애정가는 걸그룹이라 활동때마다 다 챙겨보고 너무 응원하고 있음 곡 퀄리티도 점점 좋아지고 대중성도 잘 갖췄고 솔직히 멤버도 많은데 비주얼 이렇게 완벽한 그룹이 얼마나 있을까 그냥 예쁜게 아니고 멤버 한명한명 다 다르고 너무 개성있음 얼굴합도 최고이고.. 그리고 하영이나 지원이 같이 탄탄한 메보 있어서 노래 퀄리티도 더 좋아지는 것 같음 한명한명 다 매력있고 음색도 예뻐서 지금 쭉 밀고있는 컨셉들로 좀만 더 팍팍 밀어주면 분명 뜰거라고 생각함 난 진짜 프나가 제발 더 떴으면 좋겠다...뭐 하나만 터지면 금방 올라갈텐데 이제 하이브 들어가기도 했고 소속사에서 좀만 더 푸쉬 해줬으면 좋겠음 이상 지나가던 케이팝덕후가...
