They ar literally one of the most underrated groups in the Kpop industry. They're songs are all sooo good(even bsides), based on easy-listening pop style music which is different from most of the nowdays other girl groups. That's why I love them so much.

fromis is that sleeper group you didnt know existed because they've been mismanaged since day 1. But their discography is elite and the girls are some of the most loveable ensemble of goofballs that are coincidentally the prettiest idols there is. They were created out of a show that intend to form a group from non trainees (even tho some of totally are or former) and develop to become the best and that is *the* promise.

as my ult group for years now, theyre so underrrated! they've got a few mini albums between love bomb and menow- the ones you missed in order are fun, feel good, we go, talk&talk, DM (their best) and stay this way. they didnt want to do any 'mature'/non cute concepts until jiheon (maknae) was an adult, id say escape room, rewind, attitude which have performance videos etc are more your mature vibes! to answer your questions, captain is from the show, saerom is leader and hayoung takes over when saerom is unavailable for example idol school was after produce 101, but before produce 48 (izone) stay this way was gyuris last comeback before leaving last summer, shes still supportive fromis are one of the only groups to make me belly laugh, so if you ever find yourself really enjoying them down the line, their variety show is one of the ages

Instead of going by leader, Fromis_9 has always just called Saerom Captain. She has always been the Captain of Fromis_9. Saerom is also called Romsae.

It’s always so fun when I can go along for the ride as a reactor falls for the many charms of Fromis! Be prepared because they will easily lure you in with their talent, chaos, visuals & their strong bond before you even know it! As for Seoyeon & future 2ne1, it was a pre-debut group that also consisted of Moon Sua (Billlie), Youha (soloist) & another trainee I can’t recall right now but all 4 left the company prior to debut. Hope you enjoy the ride…& as good as their early tt’s are, the real strength of their discography is in their bsides & later tt’s, imo!

I'm so excited for you to check out fromis! What makes them so different is that their music and choruses are extremely heartfelt in the way that they sing. With most 4th gen groups it's always talk-singing, which fromis rarely does and it makes their music sound very earnest and that's a rarity these days. I got into Kpop around 2018, and I MAY be biased because it was new to me back then.. but songs like Love Bomb perfectly encapsulate the pure fun and excitement I originally found in Kpop. It just makes me feel good. There doesn't have to be some crazy story or deep life meanings, it's just good, fun, happy music and it makes me nostalgic lmao. I wish I could come up with more examples of music I remember from that period with the same feelings to flesh out my point, but my brain is borked and it's so long in the past... Great reaction!! I used to watch reactions to it when it released and the song always made me teary lmao. Happy, nostalgic tears.

DM probably would’ve made for a smoother transition into menow but love bomb is so fun and the whiplash from that to menow was so funny 😂 the whole album is great and the main b-side attitude is honestly going to be So high on my spotify wrapped, i just Know It

gyuri was actually not in “DKDK” bc she was participating in another survival show at the time. you should truly react to “Fun” and “We Go” which is their best title tracks tbh

the captain and vice captain thingy are the members responsible for introducing the group, or being the spokesperson of the group. they also say the captain leads the practices or a leader in other words

fromis_9 is such a special group to me. They are the second group I properly stanned as I only stanned iz*one until after their disbandment. And Love Bomb is to this day my favorite kpop song of all time. They are also so hilarious as a group, them and le sserafim has probably my favorite variety contents in kpop. I'd highly recommend Fun,We Go, DM(especially) and Stay This Way for the next time you're checking them out!

I'm in a similar boat with fromis_9. Their old songs aren't really for me and I've only listened to a couple of their newer songs, but I listened to their new album and it is for sure in my top 5 albums of the year. Maybe even top 3.

I believe in Idol School. Some of the contestants were divided into groups during the "training" phase of the show and each group had captains which Saerom was one of them.

Because of few agency changes and some backlash of mnet controversy they had few long hiatuses, not to mention full silence mode for Unlock My World for months once comeback was postpone in march. So they havent have comeback for almost a year. But before they released 8 mini albums, and had struggle to have 1st win which they finally got with Talk&Talk. But they have very solid discography, and it gets only better after Love Bomb - Fun, Feel Good, We Go, Talk&Talk and once you hit DM(2022) watch it with performance video of bside Escape Room, then Stay This Way with bside of Rewind(stage or dance practice) to #menow bside is Attitude. Because with all those bside they show their diversity and fire choreo🔥 I'm sure you'll love it.😊 Also menow is 1st comeback since Gyuri left group. At menow Seoyeon is one in movie theather 21:12 and at Love Bomb she is blond with long hair. As for Chaeyeong 21:04 she either your bias either bias wrecker there is no other choices with her😂 She'll get to everyone either way. 20:56, 22:18 Nagyung with aquarium, she actually is fish mom😊 22:30 Hayoung dancing on stage, Main Dancer 20:43 Saerom with airplane and two tone hair, Captain 21:33 Jiwon, Main Vocal 22:53 Jisun, one the roof, she is the one who starts bridge 21:45 Jiheon with camera and TV, Maknae Fromis_9 has very good variety skill, show Channel_9 at their youtube is so much fun. My recommendation of MVs would be We Go, Feel Good, Talk & Talk and DM. But the Bsides are the actual bomb, Rewind, Airplane Mode, Escape Room, Love is Around, Blind Letter, Starry Night and all of the tracks of the most recent album are all 🔥🔥

They had sort of an innocent concept which morphed into quirky fun and finally settled on a mature funky disco kind of sound. Love Bomb is one of my all time favourite weird kpop songs!! They actually had Glass Shoes as their first song and quite a few between the last 2 you checked out, in fact the first 3 you looked at were all from 2018 haha! Feel Good, We Go, Talk & Talk, DM and Stay This Way would all be more your style I think Idol School was run by the same people who made the Produce series and it was the first of that group of shows that people noticed was being rigged and set off that entire controversy. Fun fact iz*one's Yuri was in the Idol School survival show too but didn't make the group! Trainees in Future 2ne1 also included soloist YOUHA and members of Billlie, Purple Kiss and Secret Number

Glass shoes was the song that got me hooked

fromis_9 is around since 2018 but the band suffered 2 one year long hiatuses because of poor management leading to them changing companies and to Gyuri leaving the group to focus on her career as an actress. So yes, it's a bit late but I'm so glad they finally could record their first LP. These women deserve it so much!

Just gotta say also you skipped a HUGE huge transition in their evolution from love bomb to menow, they really experimented with a couple styles (fun) but finally settled into a sound/concept something similar to menow. I have a hunch you’d love a couple you missed, maybe more than the ones you saw. Love bomb was a classic it was their breakthrough though song.
