The Kings Field series is the most important game series they have produced, if it wasn't for those games we wouldn't have Demons Souls. We all know the story afterwards! Although I would say that the shadow tower series was pretty important to, the second game was just plain wack xD

If it wasn't for Japan Studio we wouldn't have Demon Souls, the project that started the Dark Souls series. If it wasn't for Japan Studio we wouldn't have Bloodborne, the project that provided FromSoft with the game engine used for THREE of their most successful games, two of which won GOTY. Miyazaki owes a lot to that Studio...

I grew up poor and i remember one of the very first games my dad got me. Eternal ring on ps2. I think i got it from gamestop for about $3 or $5 and i played it a lot. I still remember the price tag on the front of the box and i remember the box art too

After the new Armored Core game, I hope Fromsoft goes back to making first person RPG fantasy again, currently only Bethesda is doing it(AAA wise) and their Elder Scroll series only come out once every 10 years or so. I'm sure the market is thirsty for this type of game.

The graphical leap once we hit Elden Ring is staggering. There really was a generational jump around 5 years ago, anything before then is easily dated. Video games really are hard to ignore now, the fidelity really is phenomenal.
