This is perfect as per the wiring.demo Excellent job Sean worked really well for my 2021 SR5 TACO. I recommend your video for others to follow. Two suggestion. 1. You can earth the wires on the radio, I did and no issues 2. Only the radio panel needs to be removed as you can use your hand to guide the wire to the switch and use any guide pole from top of radio down to floor to attach the camera rca wires and pull it to back of radio

Just did this to my 2022 SR. It took way longer than expected although I did solder instead of crimp everything and I made many costly delays. I made the mistake of soldering all the wires together before installing it in the truck. If you do this be sure to NOT solder the two green wires and the red wire on the av plug. Do those after you install everything. That way you can fish the single av wire around the car instead of having to fish the whole harness as one piece. Also made the mistake of thinking the av plug with the black line went to the front camera. This is not the case. Read the instructions on the website and you’ll do it right the first time. I mounted it on the same place as this video because you actually can’t mount it dead center on the pro grill as there is a plastic piece on the way where the nut needs to go. So you have to mount it about 1/2” off center and at that point I figured I might as well put it a few inches over and definitely avoid the sensor.

This mod will be handy for parking. I noticed I kept parking such that my back end was about a foot out of the parking space with room to pull forward. Now I’ll be able to see the line on the ground in front. Also the guide lines are useful. The red line seems to correspond to about 6 inches away from the truck.

Excellent video, thank you! good to know you can feed the wire down through the dash instead of pushing the connectors up through the dash... like other videos have shown... I've got a replacement on its way since my first anytime front /rear didn't work. Any thoughts on why the rear camera would turn the screen black when engaged with the button and also in reverse? But the front anytime works great. I couldn't figure it out via forums and here on YT... I needed a replacement asap for a upcoming trip... so reordered the prewired kit... hopefully can fix and return or resale the first kit... live and learn haha

I installed this about 6 months ago, now I’m having issues with it. My back up camera is starting to get dark and flicker and sometimes the radio shuts off and restarts. I wonder if it’s from the ground? Everything else is hooked up correctly.
