The height you can reach is a bit OP and the refresh time should be reduced a bit. You should be abble to spam a couple of bounces quickly to get up ledges faster while conserving your speed.

The lack of height restraints is exactly how I want a bounce to be implemented if not for badnik-bouncing, but I also think the bounce shouldn’t affect your forward momentum like the stomp does. It makes for a powerful platforming tool in the right context.

Bounce jump is one of the most fun Sonic abilities, if they ever add this, it will be so cool!

I have been thinking of Sonic's entire moveset, both the Adventure formula and Boost formula, be together as one for the next Sonic game. Imagine if you use both formulas, it would be amazing both for traversal and combat. And who knows, maybe you'll find way to break the game or create a skill sealing. Examples: Bounce Attack and Stomp Attack: Bounce Attack: Let say you want to go to a higher platform, you use the Bounce Attack. Stomp Attack: Then when you want to go back down, of course you want to jump off, but it takes time for you to fall down, then you should use the Stomp Attack. Spindash and Boost: Spindash: Let's say you want to reach to a floating platform, you use the Spindash to roll down a hill and shoot off on a ramp. Boost: Let's say you want to reach to another small island, you could spam the Spindash and keep your momentum going when running on water. But how about the Boost? You can use the Boost to run on water. Not only that, you can use the Boost to run on a vertical wall or run on a waterfall. In my opinion, in the next Sonic game, Sonic should have both the Adventure and Boost formula. So he can use it both in combat and traversal. I know there are people debating in which is better, the Adventure and Boost formula. Which I understand there opinions. Why not use both formulas for Sonic? And yes, I know and will agree that it may take a lot of money and time to develop both formulas, but I believe it will be worth the effort it for the Adventure formula fans, Boost formula fans, and casual gamers.

I feel like the stomp is better suited but bouncing is very fun. (Well, the sa2 bounce since frontiers bounce is weaker)

the bounce in the original frontiers was so lame, you literally had to stomp and then bounce, you'd lose all momentum when doing it

Cool mod but looks pointless. One of sonics most worthless abilities. Don't understand why so many like a garbage stomp double jump honestly. No momentum retention, can't be used to speed up platforming, doesn't have anything cool like giving speed bursts baseed off slope inclines and doesn't add to sonics movement options which are already very small as is outside of frontiers.
