@@PutinsMommyNeverHuggedHim actually Trump did not create the recession. The recession was caused by a self imposed, voluntary shutdown that was enforced at the state level by various governor. Actually, Trump has been doing a lot to curb the effects of the crisis by passing stimulus, telling governors to reopen, and the unemployment has been cut in half from the recessions start. Actually, the market does the best under a split government, let’s say a Republican Congress and a Democratic President, or vice versa. Going back to 1940, the market averages a return of about 17.4%. Republicans always inherit a recession from a Democrat president since Democrats mean higher regulation, bigger taxes, and bigger government.

I am an Australian doctor. A few points Health care is completely free in Australian public hospitals. We have high taxes on the rich and that money pays for everyone to get health care. Prevention does not stop a lot of the things we see. My 20 hour shift i just completed. Broken hand hit on a tractor, emergency caesarean section, removal of food stuck in the oesophagus, ectopic pregnancy removal, appendicectomy, kidney stone needing a stent inserted, broken leg from a motor vehicle accident (took 4 hours till fix), bleeding stomach needing clips put on the bleeding artery. Then at 2am I finished with the relocation of a dislocated hip. Half of the money from my 20 hour shift went straight to tax but it paid for the poor to get treatment.

This is what always makes me annoyed with people who think they understand politics/politicians. Even if you have a majority it doesn't guarantee legislation gets passed. Obama had a majority when he was elected and failed several times to get things passed. Despite the fact that initial reports from the democrats themselves showed Obama wanted more impute from republicans to show "Bipartisanship can be accomplished" Yeaaaaa. Beginners guide to politics: 1. The Majority/Minority leaders are often selected based off experience in gov. Hence why Pelosi and McConnell have been there so long 2. The Majority/Minority leaders are in opposition to one another because in reality they tilt their party (For the most part) one way or another so that the party looks a certain way come the next election cycle - Meaning that even though a bill may be agreed upon for the most party by both parties, the leader of the party may withdraw a few votes because they don't want to "Overcommit" to a plan that may have unintended consequences come election time ex: The Recovery Act that Obama passed during the financial crisis. Which was agreed upon by the majority of the 2 parties behind closed doors was then fought out in the press as "Big spending by democrats" despite Pres Bush himself inviting Obama's support for a similar spending package 1st. 3. The "Rogues" aka the "Independents" are often democrats or republicans who belong to a party within a party (Usually united by either shared interest such as similar state needs or a moral philosophy or just funded by similar lobbyists) Ex: The Tea Party - The Quad or just 2 senators from different parties who vote together on certain issues, John McCain and Senator Joseph Lieberman These "Rogues" usually end up saving or killing a bill that comes down party lines. Just google 2 senators who are buddy buddy and you will find out how often this is the case 4. All of this is to say it isn't always that politicians are "Just Corrupt" on everything. Often they are but corrupt doesn't always mean what you think it does. For example, some people think congressmen/women have a responsibility to the country first, but according to American history they have a responsibility to their state first. Since that is who voted them in But often members of congress will vote for the good of one or the other depending on the legislation (Moral corruption, meaning a preconceived notion of right vs wrong made the vote for the country which is opposed to their actual job) According to Amercian history, it is the Senates job to make the decision for the country more often than to their respective states. Hence why in early America the Senate was often referred to as another "House of Lords" a body of unelected politicians who can easily be influenced by who is their leader (The King often corrupted the House of Lords by providing gifts, such as title and property to their children, both in England and in the colonies) So really, this is just how they system was setup. And for better or worse, it has been effective (for the most part) in maintaining peace across a large swath of land

He succeeded at being a politician, and representing the moneyed interests who paid and propagandized to help put him there. What he failed at was representing the true interests of the working classes, the disposable people who produced the wealth of the campaign donor class---the moneyed and very powerful class, who are very effectively the ruling class. Anti-christian Social Darwinism is only good for the people who have been aided in sucking up and hoarding enough wealth and power to survive it and rule over it.

The most incredible thing about this is that there was a time when the right wing didn't blindly obey every last word from Trump's mouth.
