This looks really tidy. I agree it’s much better and cleaner installed directly on the roof rather than on the rails. I have a Skoda yeti and it’s the same. Need to think of a way of doing the same as you but there is only 2 mounting holes each side on the yeti 😢

Yes, but as far as I know they released a version now bolting right on the factory holes of a Caddy, even cleaner than my solution. Anyway too late now. The two mountingpoints should be enough, as the rack will be much shorter than mine anyway.

@@JanOleBroeske how did you know the rack would fit the spacing of your custom roof rails then? Is it adjustable? You didn’t show much of that detail in the video.

There is. In that case you clamp the rack to the roofrails
