Thanks to this guide I killed the Wyvern on base gear wizard, blindfolded irl, got 3 violas, bought a house, grew 4 inches (taller) and became spiritually enlightened, Thank you

wyvern’s unavoidable dodges on seem to be related to your position relative to wyvern’s head. if wyvern is looking at you but his head is to your left and you circle to the left, you can get hit by pounce, ice bolt etc. it seems like circling left does leave a small window where wyvern’s head is forced to be turned slightly left so occasionally an early farm leap while circling left will result in death or getting hit

i think you are right, the double/triple pounces occur because of positioning. i think if you move to the right (wrong) spot he will just keep pouncing over and over

I've seen so many barbarians cheese this with the iron will perk, but they gotta have balls of steel to face the wyvern with just melee

For first phase can hold a spell cast or bow instead of bandaid if full

So dumb that the Wyvern isn't immune to ranged combat, so magic and arrows.

How likely do you think it is to get this down to a point where you can do it almost every time? Is it worth me sinking time into learning it?

this boss is extremley easy to not die to its the easiest mechanics, its just hard to dps the 7k hp before time runs out for me.

Thematically cool, poorly designed. HR version is so prohibitively anti-melee that you're basically barb or bust.

Now do it literally as any other class than warlock
