Let me start off by saying that I have been thinking about this eventual goodbye since Bruce and Selina's conversation in episode 9. I have thought about it SO MUCH that I dreamt about it for TWO WEEKS STRAIGHT (my dad, who also loves batcat, can testify that I have woken him up at 3am some nights just to cry to him about it lmao). Every single possible outcome ran through my subconscious dumb brain and it never EVER could have prepared me for that. IF WE DON'T FIND OUT WHAT WAS IN THE NOTE NEXT EPISODE, WE RIDE AT DAWN.
I am really happy that I prepped this video like, 3 weeks in advance because sitting down to edit this after that episode was a big challenge (I'm too fucking dramatic to edit I swear I cried almost every time I had to add a quote, hence why there aren't many) I tried to make it like the night we met lyric video as much as possible!
Today's BatCat meltdown, brought to you by: I don't even HAVE to say the quote, y'all fucking know it but special shout out to not only them doing a mission together, but Selina deadass throwing her whole fucking body on Bane to try and get Bruce out of Another predicament brought on by his mere existence. Love that for me!!
I know this is technically a gotham finale of present time since next ep is the timejump but I'm going to save my overall batcat thoughts for that one (I had to double check whether it will fit and yt basically told me to fuck off 'cause it's too big so it'll be the pinned comment instead lmao)

*LET'S DISCUSS!!* What did you all think about the goodbye and what do you hope for the reunion? I'm a little peeved we didn't get an "I love you" after Bruce's very obvious hint towards it back in Ep 5 but for all I know it's in the damn note and I just... UGH All of this has caused me to flat out hyperventilate lmao. Selina "I'm not yours to lose" Kyle really demonstrated that Bruce Wayne is HERS to lose and that's kind of all I really wanted. As for the reunion: maybe I'm hyping it up too much and I'm ultimately going to get let down but if they don't reunite for the first time in 10 years as Batman and Catwoman then WHAT WAS THE POINT!! Even though it makes no logical sense for them to see each other and Not know that it's them behind the mask, I'll fucking accept it JUST FOR THIS OUTCOME, PLEASE. If it does play out like this, I'm going to go ahead and assume Bruce will know either instantly or the second she says something that it's her but Selina's gonna be skeptical for a bit but it might be clearer later in the episode that she Knows? Idk I haven't thought much past them meeting as BatCat because that's where the bar is for me skdfjdskjf p.s. bonus points to Gotham if they give me a BatCat rooftop kiss please and thank you

Oh man I cried so hard on that but we should all think about it in the future they have a child together and he proposes to Selina (well yeah except the part happened but not talk of that one). For time jump that be hard to cause the actress playing Selina will be a different one actor and for Bruce we only see him as a vigilante (didn’t read on seeing adult Bruce form just Batman)

First of all thanks for breaking my Batcat heart again with your video, very beautiful! And yes I was a bit dissapointed too about their goodbye, wish they had given us at least a voice over of Bruce reading the letter, I really wanted to know what it said!!!

You know, I hated the way Bruce left, without saying goodbye to her face to face but after watching this, watching everything they've gone through together, I understand why he didn't say goodbye in person. He would have stayed. He couldn't bare to see her face as he told her he was leaving. That's why he knew it was better this way. Cause he would've stayed:'(

She was deadass 10 seconds too late. 10 SECONDS. And I'm 100% sure that note said I love you, like you could tell by the look on her face when she read it. They've loved each other since they were so tiny and the fact that they didn't get to say it made me cry. that broke me tbh. If they don't have an I love you scene in the finale i'm throwing hands. It just doesn't feel fair. They deserve at least that...

Man this was so good. Your batcat videos always make me so emotional because you put your heart and soul into them and bring out the love and heartbreak of the couple. I love all the parallels this episode gives to past episodes and I’m so happy you saw them. I’m with you if I don’t find out what was in that freaking note I will throw hands. I don't usually comment on your videos, because I haven't found the time to actually watch Gotham fully (stuck in exam season currently); I only watch your videos and some other Bruce and Selina edits, so I don't really know if I even get a proper say in anything. But, I've watched this video about 20-30 times already, and it's just? Wonderful? You're making me cry with characters that I don't really even know. (This video has made me cry about six times) You capture such an atmosphere with these characters that I really haven't found in other editors, and your dedication to your videos is genuinely impressive. God,him leaving her with just a note after he said goodbye to Jim and Alfred in person(my allergies kept me from properly seeing the screen during his goodbye to Alfred...yeah, that's what it was..allergies!Damned ragweed pollen, getting in my eyes and whatnot!) was a bitch move to me. She's got every reason to be as pissed as she seems to be when she's talking to Alfred at the part in the last episode. For me,it harkens back to her harangue she gave when she was beating the snot out of him when he was under Ivy's influence. She would, quite naturally and justifiably,I think, see him as just one more person who screwed her over when she made the 'mistake' of letting someone get too close. Bruce is too quick to love, it's his kryptonite, for her, love is something to be avoided because everyone who has ever 'helped' her in the past has either left, demanded quid pro quo, or thrown it up in her face every chance they got(Sorry, I really am trying to turn off my 'psych student' mode, but when you go after your B.A., the desire to analyze sticks with you..you never watch cartoons quite the same way again, lol). What I would want to see happen is for them to reunite and maybe have a love scene,but the only type of sex i see possible at this point is some rough,angry sex,lol.

I`m literally cant stop crying...after this ep my BatCat heart is completely broken!!! I dont understand why did Bruce at least said goodbye to all his loved ones, Jim, Alfred and for Selina he left just a note...a NOTE! Is it what this poor girl deserved after all the good things she has done to him?! It is so rude and unfair! Yes, at least we should know what was in that note....And plus, i didnt understand, at the end, did Bruce saw Selina out the window or no, how do you think? P.S The video is so beautiful and touching, thank you very much)))) You always doing amazing job!

Катерина Пирс In my opinion Bruce chose to just write a note for Selina because he was afraid if he said goodbye to her in person he wouldn’t be able to leave, partly because Selina will most probably stop him and because he just loves her too much. Im not sure if that made sense. Basically what I’m trying to say is he couldn’t face her otherwise he wouldn’t be able to leave her. My opinion only tho☺️

SAME. LIKE JUST SAME. I don't think he did see her, it seemed like the plane was pointing away from her which is even more heartbreaking because now he has no idea Selina actually ran to the airport to see him before he left ughhh THANK YOU SO MUCH THAT MEANS A LOT!!

OKAY BITCH LISTEN HERE. THIS IS THE BEST BATCAT VIDEO YOU HAVE EVER MADE AND I WILL STAND BY THAT AND HERES WHY: The structure ALONE of this video is sooo fucking sound; so fucking perfect I can’t even believe??? The first 30 seconds were perfectly placed and perfectly flowed and set up the entire dichotomy of their relationship from the episode so fuck off for that. Also fuck off for the ending “some and now none of you” with Selina reading the note. I hate this. Goodbye. Then wrapping it all up with the leaving and staying conversation and she watched him fly away i just *is this allowed?* Btw the typography: perfect. The quotes and parallels: perfect. The flow: perfect Batcat Queen: perfect. I’ve seen this video many times before last night (prepped version) but this takes the cake. I’m honestly shook in the water on how much I love this video; it’s genuinely the best batcat video I’ve ever seen. Maybe that’s why you’re the queen. Ily 😉💜💚
