In an extraordinary turn of events, Henan Province found itself in the grip of a relentless snowstorm on December 10, 2023, accompanied by thunder and flashes of purple lightning. The provincial capital, Zhengzhou, witnessed an unusual spectacle as large flocks of crows soared through the snowy skies, a sight rarely seen in the city.
The channel lists such natural disasters as:
1) Geological emergencies: Earthquake, Volcanic eruption, Mud, Landslide, Avalanche;
2) Hydrological emergencies: Flood, Tsunami, Limnological disaster,
3) Fires: Forest fire, Peat fire;
4) Meteorological emergencies: Tornado, Cyclone, Blizzard, Hail, Drought, Tornado, Hail, Hurricane, Tsunami, Storm, Thunderstorm, Tempest.

Since the severe snow disaster in 2008, China realized that it must strengthen infrastructure construction to change the bad situation, so China began to build infrastructure on a large scale. There is now a good infrastructure to support it, can greatly reduce the damage, if these disasters happened before 2008, then the scale of the damage would be unimaginable

I don’t think this city is used to getting this type of snow. Most snow storms in China are just dustings since most Chinese cities arent very snowy. This is because the winter in China is the dry season while the summer in the wet season.

@@wullymc1 just cause it gets cold doesn’t mean it gets a lot snowfall. It just means the snowfall they do get never melts so it looks like a lot of snow. Keep in mind in China the winter is the dry season. And I believe the city in the video suppose to be Zhengzhou which isn’t used to getting this much snow.
