Frozen In Time! Abandoned Victorian Time Capsule Farmhouse with everything left behind. Canada Explore #74
Built in the late 1800's this beautiful abandoned Victorian farmhouse sits well off the road. In the summer months this place is completely overgrown and hidden. Once all the leaves had fallen the house is in clear view showing how nice this place really is. Everything is left behind here including a lot of vintage items and furniture. The curtains are even still hung up. Most of the items left behind here date back 1940's - 1960's. There is some major damage to the roof so the water has been leaking into the house causing a lot of water damage and mold. I was unable to explore the creepy basement as the stairs broke and fell to the basement floor. Calendar on the wall said 2006 but I find this strange as by looking around the house looks like it was abandoned a lot longer then that. The brick and woodwork on this house was incredible to see. Sadly I don't think this house will ever be saved. I would like to say thank you to Keith that told me about this place. He watching my videos and contacted me.

About me:
I have been exploring abandoned places since I was a child and now I would like to film the explores and share the videos with you.
My father took me to my first abandoned house when I was 7 years old. I remember going into the house and a old farmer came in and told us "we better watch out as the floors are all rotten and unsafe". Ever since that day I was hooked on exploring abandoned places.
If you have a location you would like to share with me or want me to explore for you please send me an email at abandonedurbexcanada@hotmail.com and I will give you full credit for the share in the description and during the video if you choose.

Abandoned buildings, especially houses force us to imagine the people that once lived there. As well, many of times it reminds us of ourselves and what will be left after we're gone.

@@mavahuth5044 Thank you, that makes good sense-just amazing how quickly these homes abandoned deteriorate. Even the staircase or wall paper peeling. Awful some people would come in a trash the place. So interesting to see all this stuff.

Great video, Thanks for posting. I knew the family that lived here. We lived close to them. And the father of that family did past away in 2006 he was 88 or 89. So yes it has not been lived in since then. I always wondered what it looked like inside. My parents and my older siblings had been in that house but, I never have. It was a beautiful old house. Thanks again.

I felt great sadness as you toured this house, long time farmers lived here, husband and wife.....the farm hats reminded me of my grandpa both the work ones and dress ones, alot of things in this home reminded me of my grandparents farm house.... I get a sense the husband outlived the wife here......a proud man who worked hard his entire life. Stuff in the home was from the 40s to the 70s....

Thanks Brent for that explore - what a stunning old home it must have been. I can't believe the number of abandoned and neglected places there are - I watch many urbex channels, Europe, US, Spain, UK etc. Wouldn't it be something if all the homeless people in these countries could be homed in some of them? I guess that's just not practical. Anyway you're still the best!! Gill 🇬🇧

Seeing those bikes took me back! I was born in 77, so I was riding mine in the 80s. But, I had a bike with the banana seat and it had big 70s style flowers all over it, and it was glittery. That seat was so slippery!...lol! Oh and those handle bars that were just PERFECT for your friend to sit on with those kick-ass streamers that caught the wind as you flew down the street or a hill with ultimate fearlessness that comes from being a kid. :) Those handlebars were it!

So sad to see such a nice old place in such a state of decay. You just know that when a family lived there, it must've been such a beautiful place to grow up at. The curve of the banister is so nice and to see such craftsmanship going to waste and decay is such a shame. I could spend hours upon hours in a place like that reading through the paperwork and trying to piece together memories of the people who lived there. I can just imagine a family there, kids running around, riding their bikes and on special nights the organ fires up and they all sing songs together!!! What a fantastic house!!!! Thanks so much for taking us all on the tour. Cheers.

What a gorgeous old house - such a shame to see it in such disrepair. Following are the steps I would take to save/restore this house. Step 1 - remove junk/antiques, etc. Step 2 - assess damage, Step 3 - repair roof to save interior from further water damage, Step 4 - do interior repairs, etc. etc. etc. A monumental and expensive task but I can only imagine how beautiful it would be when completed.

While the house might be old and there's some old things in it, much of the Furnishings look reminiscent of the early 1970s oh, I am almost 60 years old and when I grew up I saw a lot of these kinds of things. Especially that wallpaper in the kitchen and the furnishings. That looked like an 8-track player in the living room ! Very 1970s along with the shag carpet ! We grew up with many of these things. Maybe the owner died or went into a nursing home. Looks like he liked to hang onto stuff like so many people and especially old folks because it reminds them of when they were younger.

3:47 I had a TV stand kinda like that but wider, back in the mid to late 2000s. I still have the DVD VCR. Mom has one too, we swapped them. But we don't use them much at all anymore. Shame. 7:41 Oh wow, an 8 track player. 10:32 I think that's a Victrola. What a shame.

All of what you just said! He also just seems like the nicest guy. I watch his videos when I'm stressed because his upbeat demeanor cheers me up. :) Man and his videos just has a way of relaxing me. He needs his own Netflix series to be honest. I watch a lot of urban exploration videos, but his, by far, are my favorite. He has a nice eye for filming and photography (his photos are gorgeous, I would love to have a few poster sized ones to hang on my wall!), and I just LOVE the respect he has for the places he explores. It's what got me the first time I watched one of these videos. I was just like "Wow, this man!" It's been a while since I've seen another person with just so much respect for these places and their history. He's just flowing with good vibes. :)

Thank you for another great video Brent! It's always a shame to see nice houses in such ruins. The top of that banister was very nice! Your Vids have helped me get through shielding over here in Wales! Thanks again, Simon.
