Hi everyone. These two new podfics will be the last until after Christmas. I'm gonna be taking a few days off for Christmas but I'll be back soon. There's also one more to be uploaded today so keep an eye out. This is set post S1 but before S2. Stay safe everyone.
TRANSCRIPT:
A: Ah, what a lovely day it is.
C: It’s why I asked you.
A: [smiles] Hm.
C: Daa- what are you doing?
A: I’m feeding the ducks. It’s why we’re here.
C: But what are you feeding them?
A: ….Bread.
C: Nope, nope, no, no, no, no. No. Give me that.
A: What on Earth are you blabbing about?
C: We can’t feed them bread, angel.
A: Since when? And what’s with the bag of- peas?
C: So, the last time we came here and we went back to the bookshop, I found a book about ducks.
A: Well, I never, you read a book?
C: Shut up. Anyway, I discovered through this very interesting book that we’ve been doing it wrong the whole time.
A: Really?
C: Yeah. Bread can cause vitamin deficiencies. It’s got low nutritional values. It’s not good for them.
A: So you’re giving them peas?
C: Frozen peas. ‘Course you’ll never see humans do that, they’ll probably continue to do the same but, I’ll do my part.
A: I can’t believe it.
C: What?
A: The Demon Crowley, doing good. Protecting the ducks.
C: Oh, shut it. This is all your fault anyway.
A: Is it?
C: Yes! You made me like this.
A: Must you blame me for everything? You’ve always been soft. You’ve always been kind. And I’ve always known that.
C: Grrrr!
A: But there’s nothing wrong with that!
C: Why not?
A: Because it’s my favourite thing about you.
C: Oh yeah? Do you have other favourite things about me, mister?
A: Oh, of course I do. You’re very clever, and honest. But not too honest. You say what needs saying but you never overplay it. You’re very charming, and might I say wickedly handsome.
C: Alright! Okay. Thanks, angel.
A: Have I fed into your ego enough?
C: Yes, I think so.
[THEY BOTH CHUCKLE. AZIRAPHALE WAVES CROWLEY GOODBYE AND STARTS TO WALK AWAY]
C: Did you mean all that though?
A: Yes. Both Heaven and Hell can say what they like about you, because I think you’re rather wonderful. [kisses Crowley’s cheek]
C: [holds his cheek] What do you guys think? Keeper? Yeah, of course he is.
