In the Ninja AF I set 10mins for thin and around 12-15 for the thickies. With 2mins left I quickly sprinkle the cheapest stinky parmesan cheese over the chips, sometimes I even use a Colby or Edam cheese, and very seldom some mozzarella, bacon bits and chilli sauce. A tip - keep your washed potato peels and toss them in olive oil and a bit of salt and air fry them too - toss a few times during the roughly 8min cook time. For me chips are a rare treat as they no longer fit my very low carb/low processed food diet - for a better mind, body and soul. Nice shirt. Where do ya keep the batteries for it? Seriously though, I do like it.

The SteveMichele chip looks heaven! Old fashioned Tomato Sauce or seasoned Mayo. Now, it's leftover Corned Beef white bayleaf mustard sauce. Mmm. Perfect. Thanks sweet duo!❤❤❤❤

in addition, microwave the hand made fries for three minutes before rinsing starch off. Spin dry and then hand dry chips before adding oil and seasonings. Not only are do they taste better, they cost less. WIN Win

Thanks Mark, I do get that a lot of people do that, I find it makes the centres more mashed, which is great if you like that.. To get the Authentic Chippy Chip, it's better to be cooked from the outside in, with a slightly firmer Chip. Just my preference though and it also simplifies the cook.. Your thoughts?

I love chips with ketchup always. Do try Samosas or preparations close to that in your air fryer😂 "Kitchen" after long long time

I don't cook oven ready chips in the air fryer, too tough. I prefer to deep fry them.

Hi Steve! Been a while. Let me just say congratulations to you for saying "fries" instead of "chips." But mayo??? 🤢. Salt and ketchup all the way for me. Yep, that's the way we do it in 'Murica 🤠🇺🇸 But seriously, the store-bought fries were being cooked from frozen and your fries were... refrigerator? room temperature? That should be taken into account as well. And actually I don't know if I've ever put vinegar on fries but it does sound intriguing. Some places will serve "salt and vinegar" and it does work for potato chips (the crispy kind you get in a bag). :) Oh one more request: Apple pies. Those mini ones I think you can take store-bought biscuit dough and put some filling in them and fry. I tried them in an oil fryer once and it wasn't too bad.

Dump a plateful of frozen chips in paper lined tray zap for 10 mins depending on your tastes. Remove, chicken salt it, boom😅

I recently got an Airfryer. They are great. I still like the old school way of cooking. As for making chips, it is way better. Less oil and waste. Toasted sandwiches are awesome in an Airfryer. Thank you for the video.
