I still say the "everything" bagels were originally the ones they dropped on the floor and a little bit of everything stuck to them: sesame seeds, onion flakes, roach turds, dust bunnies, poppy seeds... 😂 I love that you experiment and share your process with us, even when it's a "fail". You crack me up!! "Maybe I should mix it with some....hamburger meat." So much for vegan. LOL You are a cook after my own heart. The chickpeas might be good to stretch your meat but they ain't no replacement for it.

Good evening. Experiment? It's alive! It's alive! "Yes, dogs can eat chickpeas as long as they are cooked and kept plain. Even canned chickpeas are fine as long as they're canned in water, but you must check the label to make sure they're not canned in salt water or alongside any additives." Sammi said "meh" Sorry it didn't work out. Never give up. Never surrender!

Have you ever had cactus tacos? Also a good garnish for tacos is sliced white or yellow onions, drenched in lime, with salt and pepper.

I would add a can of Walmart chili beans to the chic peas. I take a fork to my chili beans and mash them up like refried. Should make some great Taco's.

I have had failures. Ranch salad dressing is not bad instead of sour cream. Not really sure on this chickpea thing. Thank you for sharing this with us, Jana. Stay safe and stay cool

I like that you try different things. What about adding mashed refried or pinto beans? I know it's not vegan, but I make tacos with ground turkey. I don't digest hamburg well for some reason. Like someone else commented, I've heard of black bean burgers before, why not tacos?

Well, it was worth a try, right? It mighta been good. I watched a video the other day that says you have to be willing to fail, to be creative. If we aren't willing to fail, we'll never try anything new. And what's the fun of that?
