The part you have on the plastic bag acts like it doesn't get power when i put it on the fryer. It only shows a light when I hold it at an angle

I have a deep fryer that won’t turn on and I don’t see any way of opening it up to see why. It’s an Ultrex deep fryer that I’d line to salvage if possible. It just needs an heating element.

I searched for this video because mine wasn’t working. After watching your video for 1 minute I realized I didn’t have those brackets on the element slotted on the bucket properly. Once it slotted it activated the RED button.

did think the red button is a fuse? why wasn't it tested

Guys make sure you slot the heating element on the bucket to activate the RED button.
