Pull up to the trailer with the header on your combine, get close enough and drop that sumbitch. Even if it falls off the other side it’ll snap back on the trailer and lock in place.

if you still cant detach the header or see the message that says detach, reset vehicle. It worked for me. Go to map, select the vehicle you are having p[problem with and find the reset vehicle option down in the bottom.

I thought there were cops in the bushes, with beacons flashing. "Nobody move! Slowly put the header onto the ground and get out of the harvester! We know you've been stealing from the fields, buying them, harvesting and selling back!"

@@LMDProductionsOfficial I was looking for tips on header trailers and... it just hit me what are these "tails" some headers have. I can move them as trailers without trailers! I'm feeling so stupid now. I've been playing for a long time and doing missions I was always irritated by this tail that was getting in the way as I was moving my harvester all across the map. Squeezing between the poles and cars... Got a bump from facepalming so hard. XD

As a fabricator, I'm over here wondering why someone wouldn't weld a set of wheels on one end, and a hitch on the other end.

Some companies do actually. The 3162 Draper from Case and the New Holland equivalent have folding guide wheels that can be used to turn the header into its own trailer

@@LMDProductionsOfficial Now that you taught me how to load it. It adds a bit of RP, I was at the dealer on the far side of the map with only a jeep at the time. My harvest was as far away as it could be. So I cheated and used the reset. Was able to load it easily. Thanks for the video.

This header tralier is not for this header you need to use differend header trailer for this header the one here is for the corn and sunflower header and it will snap

@@LMDProductionsOfficial yeah i see however this is an old video but this header trailer is for the corn header for the same combine but for this heade you need to use one of the Nardi header trailers

How do I get a header I just bought in the shop onto a trailer without driving my big ass combine over to the shop to pick it up. I play in a small town with narrow roads.

Supposedly you can drive the trailer next to the header and bump it a bit and sooner or later it snaps itself into place. Little finicky though.

no mod headers snap to the trailer

Some of them will if the mod author has outlined the snap triggers on the header and what specific trailer it snaps to. Most don’t, but some Lexion headers I have found do as well as I think one or two Case 1020s

You can load pallets of it on to a flatbed , or hold the pallet over a tipper and it will dump into the trailer.
