Just swapped computers and this helped so much because the prior location was different than were I had them originally.

i have this problem where i put it in the mods folder for instance i downloded a map and put it in the mods folder it shows up as installed on the modhub but when i select new game the map isnt there

Make sure all the mods zips are spelled correctly make sure there's not (1) at the end

My mods were working, and they completely disappeared????? and they’re still in the mods folder

looks like things have changed since this vid. Any mod not installed from ingame does not show up even if I have them in the mod folder you show in your vid. The will however show up if I put them in the pdlc folder. I even changed the gamesetting xml to True with the path to the mod folder and they still did not show up. The pdlc folder was the only way I got them to work.

The mods folder is the native path. Some people say what your saying but it’s not correct and you will have trouble when it comes to mods that are mostly LUA

I have a similar issue, but slightly different... I dl'd mods through modhub. I have the mods installed, and checked when I start the server, but they don't show up when I get into the game in my active DLC/mod list. I went to my FS22 folder like you are showing, and I do not have a "mods" folder at all. I have the pdlc folder and a "internal mods" folder which only has the new arena games files. The pdlc folder has all of the dlc that I bought through steam, but none of the ones that I have dl'd through the in-game modhub. I have not dl'd any outside of the ones in steam or modhub.

@@cmiller5747 This is the correct directory ducuments > My games > farmingsimulator2022 you will see mods and if that is not there create one by naming it in all lower case "mods" no quotation. Your directory you are going to is the installation files and not the user data. if that doesn't work verify files for fs22 and try again.

I have an issue on console. Whenever I try to update a mod (with only some mods) it will update but won't go through. I only have an issue when sometime I try to delete a mod (also only with some mods) it won't go away it with say it has been deleted and may even may go away on my mods but after a few minutes it comes back. It make it really hard to play with friends because a lot of the time I won't be able to play unless I have the mod they have fully updated.

Some mods that I download do not show up in the mods section in the game. I would put these mods in the correct folder, but still some of them wouldn't show up. Anyone know anything about this?

i have a different issue, the mod shows installed ingame, it lets me check it off before starting a game, but its doesnt show up in the store menu, any help?

@@WikkyPlays so i fixed it, the mod not has a lightbar on it, but the lightbar doesnt work, always issues🤦‍♂

Hello. Sorry to be back on this topic again!! I still cant see any of my mods even though I've ticked ever box. Did you download your game via STEAM? Does it make any difference if the game is the basic package or Platenum Edition? Please tell me step by step how you installed the TAARUP harvester etc into your game? So far i have copied the zip folders into MY GAMES/FARM SIMULATOR 22/MODS Then I started into my game and into my saved BALLY SPRING farm. All my mods were on the screen list and all were ticked. Thenn icontinued into my game. No sign of anything on the map!!!?? What do I do next?

You seem to have a different issue. This is for if it's not showing up when you go to tick the mods loading into game and not having them is a different issue I think.

@@GamerSoapS Realised the mistake i made Start your game..select map (Elm Creek) or what ever you want...continue...wait to load Then in the game press "P" to buy your mods....scroll down the menu list on the left. Below the KEY icon there should be a BOX icon with an arrow pointing down inside it.....click on this and this is were your added mods will be. Click on which mod/machinery you want to purchase, and click on that mod again to see the details....you will have the option to buy. The mod will appear at the shop in the map. You can pick up youor item there

@@cloverfield911 mine don’t have the box with the key it just has 3 lines under the key I’m not sure what’s wrong with it. It shows up in the main menu but when I select it and load into a game it’s just not there

i am on windows 11 the files dont show up with documents and there is only a file called content and theres no mod folder in there, so i dont know what to do

try going through your whole mods folder mod by mod until you find the one causing the problem or section by section

I GOT IT I JUST DELETED THE GAME AND REDOWNLOADED IT AND IT FIXED EVERYTHING FORGOT TO SAVE ALL THE MODS THOUGH💀💀💀💀

Take the the space out replace it with an underscore I’m assuming the (1) is in the name of the .zip it means you downloaded it twice remove the 1 and brackets make sure there isn’t a copy of court farms with the same name in your mods folder.

@@ryanwilson299 the mods folder should be named mods is it not? PDLC will work however, you can run into issues with some mods by having that as your mods folder. Mainly some mods not showing up such as Terrafarm

@@ryanwilson299 if it's not in this directory ducuments > My games > farmingsimulator2022 you may run into issue with terrafarm not showing up or working. PDLC works but is not the correct mods folder and lua script wont look for it in PDLC as it is not looking for DLC content

I did give credit right at the very start, And full instructions?... Also look for it yourself if you want to just complain because I don't have a link. The software I use isn't avaliable anymore. There are others. I won't tell you them, you can find them yourself. Use google like I did. This whole video was my idea it wasn't anyone elses however someone did show me the correct folder and I made sure to credit him. the idea came from me actually fixing my issue this way. You should be nice I may have shared an alternative software that does this exact thing that you can use. But I don't help people who can't be kind and hide behind keyboards demanding help. I didn't even have to make the video. 🤷‍♂
