I mean this in the most sincere way. And I hold no grudges about KZfaq channels. But KZfaq has ruined gaming for me. Games used to be a journey of exploration and discovery. But nothing requires discovery anymore. Everything is available to see on KZfaq. The moment DLC drops its fully reviewed and every detail highlighted. And it’s great entertainment. I love KZfaq, I’ve had KZfaq premium since its first days when it was called Red. But I have well and Truely spoiled gaming for myself by watching KZfaq. As soon as I start playing I think “Oh what’s the point” I already know what lies around the bend. Is it my own doing? Absolutely, I have nobody to blame but myself. But again, I love KZfaq. A background MrSealyP vid pairs perfect with work or chores at home. There is nothing new under the sun anymore unfortunately.

I'm still here Mr Brilliant P and still watching all the Ads I can for you. An idea I've always thought would be great to watch: A farm build series- Each week you and a different You tuber/modder get together and you each have a set amount of time... You then individually create a farm using whatever mods you wish... Farmhouse Sheds Silos decor, yard, roads etc.... You could even switch it up from time to time and place budget limits etc... Then the viewers vote on which they like the best. Probably would work best as a live stream. Hopefully would get some viewers shared between you all and increase views overall. Maybe as the "Championship" the winning farm has a short lets play "A few episodes" done on it :) Whatever you do I will be watching.

I love all the videos you make mrsealp I play a lot of farm sim 22 and run different productions on the same map based on a similar set to my gfs former farm she grew up on cattle sheep and chickens with potatoes way back before she was born and luckily with the videos you make she told me what machinery her dad and uncle used what I’m trying to say is the videos you make is what farmers do.

Now I'm gonna get hate for this but I think fs22 kinda catered to the US market and a lot of youtubers follow. Bigger, better, more money lets plays. I find your lets play are very money focused. It they all seem to end up as how can imake the most money. Maybe a vintage series on a small map. Lets get excited about the jobs of the day. Maybe on productions. I think it’s gaming as a whole. One thing I find fascinating is how GTA, COD, Fortnite and Minecraft they’ve been able to hold on for so many years. But still something is missing. I think FS, ATS and ETS2, CS1, Snowrunner and MSFS broke molds. They were completely different and new. I think people want to see the “next one,” which isn’t easy to accomplish. Maybe Manor Lords could be the answer but I’m not even sure about that one

How about doing a poll? Ask the viewers what they would like to watch... me I like to see a longer let's play from year one to maybe year 10.. just run a farm for year after year with out a set end point.

The thing for me is the 2 day seasons on x1. When did he plant his first field. Seems like ages ago and looks no further on. Happens on most of his lets plays, if not all. Makes it feel like a lack of progression on the farming side of things.

Interesting topic...I mainly watch your channel for your new mod reviews. Although I'm on PC I'm a bit out of the loop so I find that your reviews help me see what is out there. Thanks! As for production simulator vs farming simulator I personally think it is simple...I play pretty much only with vintage equipment or do a start from scratch/survival save. So I don't really have any interest in the big production mods. BUT I'm all for them being in the game cause others would hate how I play and enjoy using the production mods. Doesn't make my way of playing or their way of playing better just different which is good. As for YT views...I can only speak for myself but I bounce around channels and have left a ton of FS channels. So many either don't play a way I enjoy, don't interact with their YT community or seem to really try hard to just get views. My favorite channel for FS is a very small channel that has under 500 subscribers. He puts out content I enjoy but more importantly he puts out content you can tell he enjoys. To many big channels just seem to want to placate the masses. Which is fine but when people leave their channel they seem to be shocked lol I hope that going forward you keep enjoying doing what you do. It is like a job...if you aren't enjoying it don't do it. Life is to short to deal with stuff you aren't enjoying. Thank you for all you do! And sorry for the super long comment but figured I would respond to a few topics you brought up.

Yeap, it seems in a way that Giants is letting FS22 go on its own and not really supporting it like they did. What’s with the release of mods? It’s ridiculous. I love the videos that you do along with the other streamers. You do a really good job. It helps me see equipment, bugs, gives me new ideas of playing the game, maps, etc. isn’t the game primarily about plants? And farming? Why has it gotten so off kilter? The practice of husbandry and farming is fantastic. And how to farm under different circumstances. Anyway, keep up the good work and I think people are just weary of all the other stuff that detracts from farming.

I’ve been enjoying Mars your series and playing the map. I think your strengths are your personality, honesty and sense of community. The mental health check ins are good. I wonder sometimes if there,s just too much content for farm sim. We all only have 24 hrs a day.I wonder if less is more. The podcast is a good idea as it adds an extra dimension to things

I don't know if it is for console but there is a mod that has the sugerbeet harvaster (the one with the leafremover on the frond of the tractor and the alharv. At the back) that is made to do parsnip and carrots and red beet also i have to check witch one it is sorry cant think of it now

If only you didn’t worry so much about how many people watched your videos. You have 105000 subscribers which is more than most doing farmsim related things on KZfaq. There will always be people watching and for many content creators 1500 views (so far) is something to dream about.

I always enjoy your content mrsealyp - thanks for all the effort you put into the channel. I think the declining views is natural when a game is nearing the end of its lifecycle, the DLCs have been uninspiring so it’s hard to come up with interesting new content after 3 years. You’ll inevitably see a bump in views once FS25 is announced/released. Also your audience probably subscribed because of your excellent farming content, that’s your personal brand so I think generally it’s best to specialise your channel to that type of content rather than other games. This might be why people enjoy the more realistic farming content to things like mining or inter-planetary agriculture. Everyone is different of course, but personally I tend to enjoy watching narrative-driven content where there is a sense of progression, not just farming for the sake of farming but working towards a bigger goal to give a reason to farm. Starting small and maybe work some challenge rules into the narrative (like no leasing/loans/contracts) - e.g you’ve never farmed before so no one will give you contracts because you have no idea how to operate a combine. I think your channel is brilliant and it must be very hard to think of content that will appeal to a wide audience and also keep things true to how you want to enjoy the game.

I feel it’s just the length of time between new games. 3 years is far far too long

At this point of time i've only watched 8mins of this video. But this is only my opinion but i've found the last few series repetitive in the fact that you've either hit the contracts way to hard trying to get the funds up quickly to then focus on the production that makes the most money and then it's just rinse repeat afterwards with the addition of farming,logging etc afterwards but by then the audience has lost interest to the that challenge already been done. Personally I think you should go back to how you were on FS19 with Subscriber contracts aswell as a proper start from scratch series like you did on Holmakra and Stone Valley. My all time favourite series you've have done on FS have actually been back to back FS19 series with Greenwhich Valley with Mick and Stuart helping them get out of there massive debt with the help of Debbie and Rob the tenant farmers. And with Stone Valley how you started out with old small equipment on big farms grinding the hours away slowly working you way up to that mega operation and money. I can't remember the last time you have done a series involving subscriber contracts and I really hope you do a revisted series on Stone Valley before the end of FS22's iteration of the game imo.

FS25 want list: Southern hemisphere seasons and maps - more grain crops- baby animals - autoload boxcar on trains - small, medium, and large options for productions - historic farming mode or start date 1920s to 2020s I haven't been watching FS videos for a bit because hockey playoffs are on

New mods will have slowed down as the modders will be making new mods for FS25. They will be hoping for a huge new mod hub for FS25 coming out.

My main hope for FS25 is for it to be more immersive. I like a lot of stuff in FS22, but I really wish we could do more stuff without being in menus, like landscaping, I wish we could terraform with machinery. I don't think they should get rid of yhe menus all together, because its a lot faster and people would rather do that, but having the option would be great. The same goes for manual attaching, make it an option for everyone! It's clearly possible, all it requires is making it a base part of the game, like seasons. Edit: Winches are a better example than seasons, I used to hear people say that they'd never come to console because the scripts are too complicated, but they're here.

Change your settings to don't send to subscribers. Most subscribers are lapsed so its not getting viewed by them and KZfaq think no ones watching so send you further down the discovery list and it affects your figures.

I think from the perspective of someone that plays the game but also watches KZfaq content. I have to be honest even I found myself I'm watching less & less KZfaq farming simulator content lately and that's not because I don't enjoy the game. I still play the game but I guess I'm trying to say watching someone else play the game overtime is becoming less and less entertaining ,In farming simulator there's only so much you can do. It doesn't matter what map you're on. You're just going up and down the field or you're just moving a pallet to the next production and the isn't really anything else you can do other than those two things you're just do them in different ways doesn't mean that I'm slating the content you make I guess I'm saying it may be just isn't as entertaining as it was. I'm only saying this being very honest as you've been very honest in your video I haven't been enjoying your let's plays that you're currently doing with Evergreen Valley & mars I don't know why it's not anything you're doing wrong. I'm just not really connecting with them for some reason they're not there with your great Western Wilds when you were so alive while you were making each and every episode because you had the freedom to do whatever wanted or on Griffin I felt like every episode was exciting to see what you'd get up to next where as now I just feel it become very repetitive and very production heavy. II think there are so many other games out there are so many other games and things that are popular right now that may be people have just got bored of farming simulator with regards to KZfaq but then channels like farm Sim guy are doing well I guess that's because their content is very story driven again just sharing some thought. When it comes to the "balance" issue, the main issue for me is that Giants is allowing sooooooo many unrealistic mods into the modhub without having an "unrealistic" tag. Personally, I like the realism for a challenge, and when I have to research every single mod that looks fun to find out if it is realistic and suits my gameplay style, I find I don't have very much time left to actually play. Also, for streamers, it becomes "it's realistic, and you'll have to take my word for it." I think it should be part of the mod review process to judge realism. Not that I think unrealistic mods should be blocked, but I think they should be tagged as such.

The game (..... with ALL its flaws ) is still fantastic and offers such a wide variety of possiblities. Just because some numb-nut doesn´t like the way you like to play, you shoudn´t get dishearted. In my opinion, FS22 lost the plot. The graphics are better - and the sound too but it is a farming game and Giants introducing productions, forestry (and now folk asking for mining etc) has spoilt the game. I believe they should have concentrated on the farming aspects and improving the realism - instead of leaving it up to modders to sort out. Keep up the good work MrSealyp.

Second channel suggestion is a bad idea. I think lately, you have been all over the place. First , I only watch your farming videos, the others don’t interest me. Second, you are back and forth on 2 maps, so continuity is lacking. Personally, I think you need to find a good farming map and just get back to farming for a while. Again, my 2 cents, about what it’s worth.

Keep up the expeditions videos, i think that the extra year of FS22 hasn’t been for the best. A lot of people are struggling keeping it fresh after all this time. If you put a video up on a game I’m not interested in I don’t watch it as I watch numerous channels but only 4 for FS and I don’t watch everything they put out for FS. Yours and 1 other are the only ones I watch all FS content on. Another guy in the US I watch only for his Snowrunner and expedition videos as I can’t stand his play style in FS. Other channels I only watch for 3 of his games he plays
