@@ilyblanco1181lol how so? They're long time bff. Just that they've been busy with their own work. Also it hasn't been long since Hongki got out from military, whereas One Ok Rock been busy with their world tour and stuff. Maybe they just aren't able to see as often as they did in the past. Who knows. They still follows each other on social media (same goes with their other circle of bff like Shirota Yu, Takeru Sato, etc), though their last post together was like 2019 (before his military post).

It's kind of sad that people forget that Hongki and Taka were once pretty close. I think they both just got too busy to meetup. But this cover is just such a beautiful homage to his friend (even the red microphone is a great touch). I hope Taka sees it. On another note, it is thanks to Hongki I even found out about Taka and OOR, so seeing this makes it feel as if it's come full circle.

@nothing I don't think it's necessarily that they're no longer friends, moreso that they are both busy. ONE OK ROCK are currently on tour - just finished their international tour and just started Japan tour. Not sure what Hongki has been up to these days, but I'm sure he's just as equally busy.

They're not as close anymore? I do remember seeing hongki and taka updating pictures on instagram together. But yeah, that's long agoooo. I guess you're right about them being busy with their own careers. OOR's been on a lot world tour too. Hope can see their interactions again!

Both of them been busy. I think they started to meet up less when OOR started trying to break into the US music industry. Hongki recently went to the military & after that focusing on his musical activities at Korea + group activities at Japan.

FTIsland and One Ok Rock are actually close friends. In particular, Hong Gi and Taka. Taka actually co-wrote with Hong Gi one of FTIsland's Japanese songs "Primavera".
