if salary is more than $115k but you are not in policy making position then does the non compete apply?

What if a business does not tell there employees? I am about to sign a non compete, but one this is effective in September should the company know these rules and regulations?

Hi there and thanks for watching! Yes they should know and communicate this to current and future employees, but maybe they don’t know. There are also some situations that are an exception to the new rule so that is something to consider as well. I definitely think it is reasonable to discuss it with them before signing anything. Do you know if this will apply to members of a Trade Union?IBEW,UA,etc?I cannot find any info on that.

As far as I know, the only exemption will be for agreements entered into connection with the sale of a business.

Sale of a business or anyone making over $151,000 non-compete still are valid
