Let's start with a bang! First official race and first engine review! I'm talking about the GIMAR UFO MARS, an engine based on the OS-ENGINES B2104. In this video I will do the unboxing, and the complete review of the engine, the dedicated exhaust and the GIMAR mixture.
I used this engine during the first round of the national 1/8 BUGGY nitro championship at the POLICORO track, a fast track with a long straight and a grip level well above average!

Gran bel motore il gimar, nella categoria onroad ha sempre fatto paura da quanto andava, teneva testa ai max power e su molte piste andava pure piu forte, sempre ammirato questo brand

Interesting, very good video. So it's not a liinear engine, needs to be calmed down on a low grip track but still has a great fuel mielage. Gimar and OS seems to be a good combination. Cant wait for the next review

Bella recensione! A me non piace tanto la colorazione della testata sinceramente sembra un giocattolo😅 gusti miei logicamente... per il resto e cosa più importante piu che altro sono le componentistiche e sono al top!!!

Excellent review. I feel you would like to use this engine on a higher grip surface to really examine the bottom and mid power of this engine but ultimately you are impressed with the performance so far. I have the Gimar Blade 7 off engine (Novarossi based) and i also had an unfurtunate experience with the graphics peeling off the cooling head. It seems as though it was a graphics sticker of some sort that when heat was applied it would just start bubbling and peeling off. It doesnt affect performance but not great to look at. Thanks for the review. I'm looking forward to what you have planned next.

Many thanks for your comment! Yes, in my opinion on low grip tracks you need to try with steel flywheel! For sure will be better! Thanks again for watching my contents

Prossima gara... Nuovo motore! Non posso ancora dirvi niente... Cmq il 7 APRILE alla COLOSSEVM race mi vedrete con un motore ancora diverso!

Ciao Giuseppe! Mi sembrava che avesse un botto di "TIRO" quindi ho cercato di "ammazzarlo" con la frizione... Ma non ci sono riuscito!!!! :D Ad ogni modo là a Policoro faceva comodo un motore così prestante ai bassi!

Il colore del pistone non dipende anche dalla miscela che si usa? Magari con un marchio di miscela diventa più scuro e con un'altra diventa meno scuro.

Sicuramente influisce anche il tipo di miscela… Ed anche le temperature

Per competere al tuo livello bisogna senza dubbio puntare su prodotti di fascia alta/altissima. Nella tua “serie” hai intenzione di provare solo motori top oppure anche qualcosa di intermedio? Ciao 👋

Ancora non so… Sicuramente il campionato Italiano e gli europei li faró tutti con motori TOP di gamma… Peró il progetto sta andando bene, le aziende interessate sono tante… Quindi sto pensando di ampliare il format anche su qualche gara Libera… E quindi posso spostarmi su diverse fasce… Sono molto contento di come si sta evolvendo questo progetto

NON ritengo giusto fare questo tipo di confronti... Ma al di là del fatto di non ritenerlo giusto è anche praticamente impossibile, con il motore di Ielasi ci ho corso per una stagione intera, con questo ci ho fatto una gara soltanto... è difficile fare un confronto con un oggetto che ho usato per decine di gare!
