FTL multiverse: Sector 1 sylvan with Withers Cruiser

Sylvan is normally the strongest opponent in multiverse, you are not supposed to fight him, but withers cruiser is the strongest ship and can actually beat him stock with a janky boarding party.

I like that the first ship instantly realises how screwed they are and instantly surrenders.

1 year later when Sylvan has 8 shields and super shields and his own battle theme, and this ship can still kill him S1, although this ship is a lot stronger now as well on account of its sheer numbers of units. Jerry's ship can also kill it S1, although there's a few things that have to go right for that one.

Quite a few, but they all require thick rng, i might try some more later though.

I mean the crapbucket could if you roll double Rift Walker and get enough scrap to use both or just roll one and an anti boarding field and stealth somehow in S1

I’m sure you could do it with the prime transport if you can get energy shield bypass

I did this recently too! By the way you should fight Sylvan if You are using Sylvan cruiser A and do not have Sylvan cruiser C. You are using Hektar cruiser A and do not have Hektar cruiser C You are using the Limit 3 and do not have the limit four. Any other time fighting Sylvan is either a victory lap or a Deathwish. By the way you can obtain the rift waker by saving sylvan in Obelisk homeworlds with Obyn.

Im thinking about another S1 sylvan run actually :) Im gonna check the viables list and try for one of the more difficult ones.

ok first off in description you said sylvan was the strogenst enemy but there is a secret sector called nexus point and it only contains sylvans as enemies and the exit beacon has sylvan prime wich is such a pain in the ass like IT HAS FREAKIN 107 HULL POINTS DAMN

Sadly you dont get anything, it just respawns his crew.

What is this ship you use? Can i unlock it?

Makt-lithe Gael Pro, its the last ship you unlock in multiverse and it requires most other ships to be unlocked. Its on the last page to the right of limit.

@@SandTag thanks. Can i ask another one: Wiki says: you can play as traveling merchant ship "stranger danger" (that have 6 weapons) and it can't be unlocked NOW. do you know, how it can be unlocked? (Maybe, with Cheat Engine)

@@DeGameBox_SRBT open the console with L then enter SECTOR SECRET_NEXUS Your ship will also need the decoy buoys augment, or you wont be able to travel there. The ship unlocks instantly, be warned that its super buggy.

@@SandTag WOW! I found another variant, how to unlock ALL ships: press "L", type "SHIP ALL" (or "SHIP_ALL", or "SHIP SHIP_ALL") - no visual effect, but in angar a surprise waiting for you! :D

@@DeGameBox_SRBT That is an outdated version of multiverse, the nexus was no implimented in. if you join discord.gg/hhs5ecx you can find the up to date version which should allow travel to the nexus with console. Alternatively the official site link for multiverse is www.subsetgames.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=35332 which also has the current version. And yes, you can ship all to unlock it too
