Having owned the Carnage in 2012 I was really looking forward to seeing if the Torro was just as durable. Turns out it is! Managed to break a few parts but I cannot complain given the abuse I gave it. It is still perfectly driveable and the only part I managed to break is the front chassis protector. I've ordered an aluminium upgrade and will get it back in action soon!

Time to put the Torro through its paces! Managed to break the front chassis protector. Also noticed an issue with the carb sticking, which I think could explain the cars reluctance to accelerate towards the end of the video. Fixed with a removal and little spray of GT85 and it's running sweet! Let me know what you think of the Torro down below!

I’m not going to lie but mine was awful the radio gear gave up in the first month a servo went every single time I used it something broke and I literally never crashed it

Looks very promising this truck, I’ve had mine for about a week and haven’t been able to take it out because the brand new glow ignited didn’t work at all so just waiting for a new one, can’t wait to get it started

If you search "Upton Canyons" on google maps the bashing area is pretty much there. I park on the corner of Longmeadow Lane and Beechbank Avenue. The only downside of the area is that 1/ It's busy and 2/ It's a long walk to/from the car!

Not a massive amount no, they're based on the same chassis . Torro is slightly longer wheelbase. Both very capable off road :)

Hi josh quick question I have turned the torro up lsn needle ajusted so the engine cuts after 4 to 5 seconds and the buggy very responsive on pull away tick over think is fine and the hsn needle think OK as getting a nice amount of smoke all the way through. The issue is when I have a couple of high full throttle passes it cuts out do you no what it could be. Engine temp roughly 98 to 120 c or 230 to 240 f 🤔👍 p.s look at my custom torro on my u-tube channel tell me what you think 👍

Quite nippy because it's very light (mostly plastic parts). Not sure on a speed though :)

Depends entirely if you want a Nitro or Electric! Traxxas one is better quality and less work, Nitro is more of a hobby :)

First one is Brushed electric motor, second one is brushless electric motor, third one is Nitro powered

For a stadium truck that thing handles like hot garbage. I'm no expert but i think it's severely under damped.

I think it's more just the CG, When that spare wheel came off the back it started handling better. It jumps quite nicely!

@@TheRCBiker maybe but the way the rear end kept pogoing up after every jump suggests otherwise. I'd at least check the shocks to make sure they are actually full. Maybe try heavier oil just to see. I get the feeling it'll settle down a lot.

Just got 2 of these, new to nitro rc. Had them out a few times with my son. Just got to get used to tuning now, I think they are good cars for the money (£179).
