This interview was so much needed. Really changed my views about the Mir family, not that i was negative about them, but i thought of them as probably those typical super elite nepo family who lived abroad or like the Kapoor Khandan of Bollywood. But they are so normal (the kapoors never sat in a Rickshaw, never travelled by train in their regular life, naukar chaakar and all). My respect for this family has increased even more.

One of our favourite actors here. His performances were so realistic that he left an indelible imprint on our minds. We saw Tanhayian on video cassettes and I remember how the local vendor permitted us to keep it only for 2 days because there was such a huge demand for it. In Jhok Sarkar he dwarfs all the other characters effortlessly despite the fact that we happen to be their fans too. However, I must say the interviewer allowed herself to get overwhelmed by his overpowering presence. Hope we get to see more of his performances in several more dramas.

Tanhayian is an unforgettable drama of my life, it is simply real example of our society. I listen to it in MP3 while driving, and I am 💯 sure I am the only one in country who listen to it countless times and even today enjoy and listening to it. Charector of Zain and Zahra (jeya), I can't express in my words how real it was, also part of my life

I am from india , I have started watching pak drams from last year , I have started watching jhok sarkar and I became fan of Asif sir , I was not knowing his name also , then search it , becoze I like his control over voice and his eyes are very talkative I mean ," ankhe bolati hai " . unki seniority unki aavaj , leheja , smile aur aankho se pata chalta hai . Interview muze bahot bhaya , Muze bhi yahi lagta hai ke aapke yahan amiri - garibi , ego aur soch ki vajah se progress kam ho rahi hai , sir ki sacchai aur bekhauf nature bha gaya Ahad ke 2 drama maine dekhe , lambi race ka ghoda hai , he is too good , of course , these are my opinions . Great interview. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Met Asif Sahab when the Tanhaiyan team came to Aga Khan Hospital for shooting the scenes. Spent 5 days with the team. Had a wonderful experience watching the cast shooting the scenes. Made friends with all. Also his 2 cousins were my classmate in school, Samra and Tanveer, at the time when his father used to be part of the film industry. Keep on acting Sir. Thank you for a wonderful interview Rabia.
