what's up guys in this video I am replacing a fuel filter on a 2002 Ford excursion replacing a fuel filter is basically the same on all cars there's three different types of fuel filters some using a fuel line tool wrenches or pushing clips to remove the fuel line basically all the same procedure
when replacing the fuel filter you can remove the fuel pump fuse or relay turn the car on until it runs out of gas so you can relieve fuel pressure from the lines and then remove the fuel filter but in my case I was already all the way down on empty

I have an Excursion as well. Is the tool your using different from Ford to Chevy To Dodge etc?

This tool will work for some Fords, GM Nissan, etc. The tool I have came in a set for different types of fuel lines sizes

Good afternoon boss!! I've replaced the fuel filter twice on this truck and haven't had the fuel spray out when removing the fuel filter..but it depends on the vehicle 🤔 ..but you can also remove the fuel pump fuse and run it till it dies to relieve pressure..up to you boss , hope this helps

Someone broke the blue clip in mine, so i cant get it off. Are replacement clips offered anywhere?

Yes you can get them at the dealer or in the help section at AutoZone or O'Reilly's or NAPA Auto parts etc hope this helps

@@willhart7861 you're welcome.. I hope they have some in stock for you and if you can't find them at the store you can also order them on Amazon they have a variety pack of different sizes of the fuel line clips...
