July 2024, I'm still loving this, Is anyone else still listening?

Nostalgia hits hard when the local radio station plays this in the late afternoon and you're reminded of the great years of the early 2000s while simultaneously slowly dying inside from a 9-5 job.

The guitarist wrote this about his Grandmother when she was dying. Some of the words are really what he cried to her. He loved her so very much.

This is one of those songs that when you close your eyes, for almost 4minutes you’re not in 2023 anymore. You’re in high school. You’re driving around at night with friends, 5bucks in gas, no destination and endless laughs. You have no worries. And then the song ends. And that part of you goes back to sleep.

This song brings back memories, and this video hit me pretty hard. I was pregnant with our son and at 30 weeks gestation I suffered a placental abruption. We were bleeding out and had to have an emergency csection. I'll never forget being run to the OR, the look on my parents faces, giving my husband a last kiss. The doctor gave us a combined 35% chance of survival. Now our son is completing his electrician apprenticeship and I couldn't be prouder of him. This video couldn't be any more closely related if I'd directed it.

Fuel, this song Hemorrhage (In My Hands), so massively powerful. I am having a problem putting it into words to capture just how strong this song is. It is now 2024, when this song came out I was 31. It was a strange time in my life. I had lost my dad 9 years before and was just trying to figure out life. Now, 2 and a half weeks after turning 55, hearing this song again. Thank you Fuel, and singer of the time this came out. This hits me to the core, and I am grateful to have existed in a time that this song did and does. Much respect, care, and love...

There's just something about the 1990s through the early 2000s songs that hit different. I was born 98 but still listed and appreciate the early music.

At 33 years old I've lost track and as much as I love this song it gives '90's vibes.

Getting closer to my 30s, this stuff takes me back to being a kid. We get older and realize we don’t live forever, this music just kinda helps you reminisce. Much love to any other stranger on the internet going through it.

Songwriter Carl Bell on the meaning behind this song: "When I was younger, my grandmother got cancer. By the time they found it, it was much too late. Instead of sitting in some hospital, she wanted to go home and be home. And my mother and my aunts and their husbands went to sit with her at home. A few months passed, and the cancer had spread, it had eaten up most of her body and all of her hope, and it was a bad time. One particular day was a really bad day for her. My mother was sitting with her that evening, and she turned to my mom, and said, ‘How do you die?’ It crushed my mom, and it’s still crushing me."

I saw Fuel Live in concert 3 doors down was headlining i was 18 years old it was 2001 i saw 3 doors down , Fuel , Tantric , Dee snider was there it was at the Connecticut expo center we got our tickets at Strawberries for 25$ it was general seating.. We were in the front row. I won us backstage tickets to meet the bands .. it was the best night of our lives we got a limo to drive us there and home.. we were invited to the after party .. Me and My Friends ( all of us were girls) got home at 11am the next morning.. it was the Best Night of our lives The 90s were the Best!! It will Never be like that Again!! Nostalgia is what i get every time i hear Fuel, They were Amazing Live !!!! This was The last Song They played before 3 doors down came out .. The crowd went Nuts .. everyone was Singing It was the best night!!! There will Never be Music like this again !! My daughter is 16 almost 17 and i hear the crap they listen too it's nothing like the 90s music.. Fuel, 3 doors down, Staind , Limp Bizkit , Korn , Puddle of Mud. Three days Grace , Incubus . Just too name a few .. There Will Never be another time like The 90s and Early 2000s It was the best time for music and to be a teenager.. Driving with your friends at night Top down on your Car listening to Music was Everything!! There was No cellphone's like there are now , we had them but to expensive to talk on it was a dollar a minute back then free on the weekends. My station was Kiss 95.7 and Rock 102 Now its Just Rock 102 because the music today sucks.. I hate turning on the radio and hearing Lizzo or Beyonce... Music will never be the same.. My man Brett Scallions was really a beast during his prime years! He is an intense, passionate singer and a very effective interpreter/actor, too. This is my go to song whenever I want to belt out the tension that is kinda overwhelming me!

I loved this video as well as the timeless song … it came out in 2000 .. lots of imagery of orange & blue, in clothes, in the set walls, the singer’s beautiful blue eyes, the actors’ orange & blue … I had returned to University of Florida around then for business school … it all just hit me right. Met my husband there. Now it’s been 23-24 years and I have 2 sons in college. Where does the time go? Holy moly.

Todays music is like listening to a computer program. The 90s and early 2000’s was written with the soul. Instruments and meaningful lyrics.

I grew up in the late 70’s and early 80’s with some of the best music of numerous genres ever. Nevertheless, this song and other 90’s music like this are still a very powerful part of the soundtrack of my life. I’m grateful to have experienced so much great music

Carl Bell wrote this about his grandmother who died of cancer. I've always loved this song, but it wasn't until November 2019 when my dad died of intestinal cancer that I REALLY connected with it. One of the most underrated vocalist

Brett Scallions' voice is what stands out the most in this song. You can already tell that he's a pro at expressing his emotions just by listening to his vocals. Fuel has had multiple changes to their lineup in the past, including their lead singer. But Brett is the best vocalist Fuel has ever had in my opinion.
